Year Round Beachfront Escape. Mountain Views, Hot Tub, Dedicated Retreat Room

  • Welcome to Salt and Soul Beach House, a premium year-round seaside retreat for families, friends, retreats.

    This expansive house is nestled on a private shy acre overlooking stunning SE views of Holmes Harbor, Saratoga Passage, and the Cascades - providing front-row seats to wildlife and dramatic sea-skyscapes.

    We are located about 20 minutes from the ferry, halfway between Langley and Coupeville with the historic Greenbank Farm within a quick walk. The home is furnished for connecting, cooking, yoga, lounging inside or out.

    Sleeping arrangements: 3 bedrooms (2 Queen, 1 King) on the main floor and two bedrooms (1 Queen, 4 bunks) on the lower level. There are 4 separate sitting rooms, including one perfect for quiet working or yoga. Luxury linens, Mexican beach blankets, yoga mats, board games, puzzles on-site. Bring your own life jackets paddle boards (all water use at your own risk, we do not provide any water craft.)

    The house is designed for all different types of group trips. Girls trip? A retreat? Mom and daughters group? A few small families? Family reunion? We are ready for it. Let me know what your'e up to and I can offer recos.

    Note that we do our best to keep this an allergen free home. Our cleaners spend extra time when pets are there which is why we have a size limit and there's a pet fee. Guests who try to sneak in their big lovable giant dog will be caught by the outdoor cameras.

We loved the house. Clean, plenty of space, furnishings and linens in good condition, beds were comfortable, view from the deck was great! We enjoyed walking on the beach, watching the bunnies hopping in the grass, the varied birds to watch, and we even got to view a bald eagle flying around and landing on a nearby tree. We would definitely stay here again.

Our extended family trip was wonderful - there was plenty of room for adults * kids, the hot tub was awesome, and we loved taking beach walks. So much great wildlife! Bunnies, seals, and eagles galore. Great and quick communication with the hosts. Little touches like blankets for cold mornings and evenings were so thoughtful!

We had such a wonderful stay at this fantastic vacation home. It was large with so many amenities (more beds than we had anticipated)! We came after our 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends. There was room for all of us - 8 adults and 4 children. Communication with Elisabeth was so easy. And what was most impressive was that our hosts put in a baby gate to make the place safer for our 1 and a half year old twin grandbabies, and they also purchased two new pac & plays for us. That was well beyond our expectations. I recommend them enthusiastically and know others will have as fun a time as we did.

The experience was wonderful the house was clean, roomie, comforting, and the group enjoyed the location! Oh we were picking shells, enjoying card games in the living room, resting comfortably after visiting spots on the island. There were suggestions incase we had no idea what to eat nearby or what there was to do if we had no plans. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked inviting! Honestly we joked about revisiting that house in some years, but I’m kind of hoping we actually do cause it was a great spot to be at!

Amazing location. Great communication with host. Location was quiet with towns close by with everything you need. Lots to do - we went paddle boarding, walked on the beach, played games outside and relaxed in the hot tub.

Beautiful view of Camano Island from the deck and great beach combing! We spent Thanksgiving weekend and had fun exploring the island.The only negative was poor water pressure - well water wasn't enough for showers for 11 people.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! It’s beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and the views are truly unbeatable. I was amazed at how calm the water was—we’ve never been anywhere on the Sound with such peaceful conditions. It was perfect for the kids to paddleboard, do a little crabbing, and enjoy quiet bonfires on the beach. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time! The house was excellent for such a large group. Our view was outstanding. Main level entry with bedrooms available worked perfectly for the seniors in our group.

We had a wonderful time, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished it could have been for a longer period. The rental was so nice and comfortable for our large (9) group. Well equipped with necessities and clear instructions on how to care for the cabin while there and what to do upon leaving. Very clean and amazing view! Great access to the beach. We’d like to return next summer!

We enjoyed four days for a Fall Family Getaway on this gorgeous property. There are six of us and there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and do their own thing. If we needed to work (great wi-fi), do a puzzle, read, play games or watch sports, we were all able to do our own thing. We had one calm day on the water and were able to paddle board, which was amazing. The outdoor hot tub with a view of the harbor takes the experience to the next level. The beds are very comfortable with great linens. The kitchen and dining area are perfect for us to dine together. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.

Big water view in Greenbank

Large house on a hill with a fabulous east view of the Sound, very private. Like most rentals, the house has some quirky spaces, but we enjoyed staying there. Good walking beach when the tide is low.
