“Great place to stay. There were four of us and it was about perfect with having one bathroom. Two kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat are there for use. But plenty of room if you brought your own. I would recommend bringing your kitchen essentials (spices, oil, condiments) as there aren’t really any there. Easy walk to the beach across the road. “Loved the privacy & location. Perfect cabin for 1 person. My only issue was my truck was too big for the parking space, which made it tough to get in/out of. Would definitely rent a cabin here again!”

“This place is exactly as advertised. We stayed for a weekend to take in a concert at SPAC. It is a convenient location, easy to get to town, but very quiet neighborhood.The “well equipped” kitchen really is very well equipped, there was nothing I wanted that wasn’t there. The setting is beautiful, the lake is clean and welcoming. If we had more time we would have made better use of it, as it was we enjoyed it. That we could have our two small, very well behaved, dogs with us made it perfect.”

“Just the fact that it is 1930s vintage says a lot. Check-in and directions super easy. There was a surprise batch of cookies and a fireplace starter which were both delightful. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. Bedrooms very small but the outside front porch, back porch and yard provided cool places to relax and unwind. Near-by Usher Park a perfect place for small children. ”

“The cottage was charming, clean and cozy. The host was very friendly and answered all our questions prior to arrival. Will definitely recommend this cottage.”

“House was perfect for 3 people for two nights. Screened in porch was nice for when it rained. Bedding area in loft area is more for children, ceiling is low.”

“Property is beautiful BUT beware the cabins are much smaller than they appear in the photos. The upstairs with the 2 beds is just a crawl space with beds. Not suitable for young kids or anyone tall lol. The steps leading up to that space is dangerous. Make sure to buy the linen package, i didnt even know it exsisted until we arrived and it was to late to purchase. Beware of the slippery floors as well, my kids took many spills on them. The bunkbeds are also in closet NOT room. ”

“This is a very nice new house located just a few minutes walk to the racetrack. It was fully outfitted with everything we needed for our stay. The owners were very nice and responsive throughout the process. The location was great if you’re headed to the races. We would definitely stay there again!”

“Came in for the weekend to attend 2 DMB shows at SPAC and to have a field trip for my senior dog. Both Me and my Dog loved the place. Super peaceful area and in a reasonable distance to SPAC. One negative is that the AC wasn’t too great. It’s ok in the loft sleeping area, but downstairs stays pretty warm, and I was here during cooler summer temps. Just be mindful of that if you like your AC like I do.”
