2. Cozy Farm Stay-3 Bedroom House in Lynch Station

Lynch Station

“There are no outside pictures which I would assume was intentional. This is a single wide trailer with an unkempt exterior on a piece of property cluttered with old cars and debris. The comforter in one room had stains all over it. There was no soap for showers . Which has been a given in all other properties I have stayed at.Old trailer but it was as clean as it could be. Living room does have cute furniture.”

“We had a fantastic stay at SML and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Even with several days of rain, we still had an amazing time thanks to the thoughtful design and setup of the house. The property was spotless when we arrived, everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The abundance of amenities made it feel like home (and then some), and we especially appreciated all the little details that showed how much care went into preparing the house for guests. “We stayed at the Green Grain Bin 7/16-7/20 while our daughter toured Liberty University as a potential student. The location couldn’t be beat; close enough to grocery stores and town, but nice and peaceful! The home was immaculate and we loved the cute cow decor everywhere. The shower was spacious and bed was soo comfy after a long day on our feet. Full kitchen & laundry were beneficial in enjoying home cooked meals at night and washing clothes before coming home. (There’s a Mennonite farm just...

“The Retreat at Candler’s Mountain is exactly as represented on the website. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The area is very near everything you’d need in Lynchburg, but feels secluded and is extremely peaceful. The hosts anticipated all the information we would need regarding the rental, including advising us of an internet outage before we were even aware it was out.I highly recommend this property if you are visiting Liberty University and the Lynchburg area.”

“This was one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. And to boot it had everything you would need for the stay on the lake, including kayaks, paddle board and a hot tub to warm up in after a chilly day on the lake. Yep, we were there in the dead of summer but temps remained in the low 70’s and 80’s with misty rain. The weather was meh, but the location and time with family was fabulous! The host was very responsive and very thoughtful with a welcoming snore kit to enjoy by their fire pit....

“This house was amazing. Pictures don’t do justice to the coziness and comfort that this house provided. Perfect for our weekend in Forest visiting our daughter at LU. Back porch and garage game room allowed us lots of outdoor time soaking up the beautiful weather and the house allowed us plenty of space to enjoy our time together. House was clean and had everything we needed as a family of 6. Beds were super comfortable and the neighbor was quant and safe. We will definitely book again. Amy was...
