“Lovely home. Easily accommodated our family of 16. Has everything you need in the kitchen. Nice 5 minute walk to the river. Beware - A bear did break into our truck. A bear paw print (picture attached) was noted on the truck near the door handle, and a flip flop left by the front door was found inside the truck. No damage inside, as there was nothing inside the truck. ”

“We had a great time at the Roost Cabin. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck taking in the scenery. We loved the area and took several hikes at the nearby Calaveras Big Trees park and also drove up to Lake Alpine. We would definitely love to come to this cabin again. ”

“The house was wonderful! It was beautiful, with plenty of space for our family and in a location near Calaveras Big Trees State Park. We were ten people and there were large cooking pots and a well equipped kitchen. The deck was a highlight, spacious and looking out into the forest. The neighborhood was quiet and a pretty place to go for walks.
