Fritidshus i Grottoes

“We loved our stay, the host checked on us and we have very good communication. We'll definitely be back!!”

“This was a perfect rental experience! The cottage was adorable, with beautiful views. Peaceful surroundings. Exceptionally clean. Every amenity you could want, including fresh food in the fridge. Fully stocked kitchen. Nice walk-in shower. There was even a fire pit, grill, and firewood provided. The host was very welcoming, and made sure that our stay went smoothly. I could have stayed there for a week, just relaxing, enjoying the property, and sightseeing in the area. Definitely...

“Very secluded, great place”

“We had a wonderful visit. Beautifully landscaped and, clean property. Peaceful- hope to visit again.”

“The house overall was good. The upkeep could have been a lot better. There are a few boards on the floor that are coming up. There is a brick that is loose in the family room. In the hallway bathroom, the rack on the wall is broken(a screw is missing) It did feel like the house(inside and outside) was not professionally cleaned in awhile. We came across a few spider webs and spiders in a few corners of the house. We couldn't really enjoy the outside scenery because there were spider webs...

“Its the giant house on the side of the road, parking is by the tree on the hill. Arriving at night was hard to tell, with many small houses around the big house, and drive ways small. Dont let this fool you, this is to help you find it, as the place is amazing to stay. There are many rooms to stay in this house. This one is on 2nd floor, around tight nit stairs on top left. Room photos do not do it justice, its a bedroom / hallwall with bathroom, and den (spare room) very cozy, den is nice and...

“Great location for a girls' weekend. Thank you”

“Wonderful and lovely vacation home! I wish we could of stay longer. Very very clean and comfortable. The only somewhat critic is that its beside a very busy road and we can hear the cars driving. It is still very private and peaceful with the trees. Loved the camp fire and listening to the cicidas at night! I highly recommend and would stay there again if visiting Virginia.”

“The cottage was beautiful! Clean and peaceful. The hosts were very responsive and the location was fantastic. My wife and I enjoyed time by the campfire. Was a lovely time away! ”

“Loved the Cottage! So cozy and perfect for our 4 day getaway. We enjoyed the grill and fire pit as bonuses!Super convenient to wineries, breweries and downtown Charlottesville.Thank you!Bree and Grant”

“The Little Cozy Cabin was very clean, pet friendly and close to all the activities that we wanted to attend. The host Jeremy was available when needed and very accommodating.”

“General cleanliness. Ceiling tiles need to be replaced. Multiple spiders/bugs throughout. There was also a mug growing mold that was left by the kitchen sink. We ended up not staying over night. We just used the space to get a ready for the wedding we were attending in the area. ”

“Gorgeous, secluded location. Great place for some R&R. Close to Crozet and Charlottsville but also quiet and definitely off the beaten path. Cottage interior accommodations like new and cozy. Communication with host was quick and effective. Would stay again for future visits to VA! Thank you for a great stay!”

“Our stay was fantastic! Great location for wineries and hiking. Perfect for a couples getaway for privacy and quaintness. Will definitely consider booking again if we ever come back to the area!! ”

“The cottage was very nice. We appreciated that is was dog-friendly”

“I had a lovely stay at the cottage. My dog and I stayed here for a few nights. The location was perfect if you want to visit the wineries and the Charlottesville area. The cottage was super adorable and cozy and comfortable and clean. It was well stocked with the amenities that we needed for a comfortable stay. If you’re coming to the Charlottesville area, I highly recommend renting this cozy cottage. And the host was readily available every time I had a question. I hope to stay here next time...
