“overall quite nice. construction next door was minimal, BUT the closeness of the new structure really took away from the overall feel. i'm sure 5-6 established trees and a little time will soften this effect.”

“We spent four nights in this great home. It's in a nice location on a very quiet cul-de-sac. Close to day hiking trails and Gualala for restaurants. Home was very well equiped - we cooked several meals without finding any missing household items. Hot tub works great...which is sometimes a rarity in rental homes. We would definitely stay here again.”

The house is nestled on the hillside with beautiful views. We also enjoyed the wildlife. Deer grazing casually and the resident turkeys that hung around. They didn’t seemed bothered by us at all and we loved watching them. We also enjoyed the coziness of the fireplace after returning home from all the amazing hikes...

“If you like the 70s then this may be the place. I do, so I enjoyed it. Some of the things are a little rundown but if the price is right then I recommend. Great view of the ocean. Hot tub situated under the trees. Kitchen a bit lacking in supplies but sufficient. Bedrooms nice, comfortable. There was no firewood supplied so pick some up on the way or in Gualala at the market. Watch out for ticks in the yard, they are abundant.”

“Our stay was really magical. The home is outfitted with everything you could possibly need - lots of towels and kitchen accessories. Everything was very comfortable, including the beds and the sofas -we especially appreciated the blackout curtains in the bedrooms. There were cozy blankets in every room and the hot tub, looking out onto the cliffs and the ocean was relaxing and peaceful. “Stay here if you are fans of amazing ocean views and sunsets. We are, and we were rewarded with phenomenal ones. The house is well stocked with comfortable furniture, beds, good showers and good WiFi. Lots of good seating areas inside and out. Excellent hot tub. Not as close to Mendocino as I’d hoped-around 30 minutes of winding, but gorgeous coastal road. Not much in Elk, esp during the week. Seamus is a great host who made everything easy for us.”

“We greatly enjoyed our stay at this house with the large grassy front yard and back decks. We were visited by deer and quail in the front and bunnies and jays in the back. We loved sitting on the platform on the bluff, watching sea lions and seabirds go by. The other houses on either side of the house are screened by trees/plants, so there is a sense of privacy on the decks. The highway is just one street over, close to be convenient but not obtrusive or loud. The house was comfortable with...
