“Beautiful hotel and grounds with wonderful views off our back deck. The 2 person jetted tube was just what was needed after a day long hiking treks. Friendly and professional staff and we enjoyed a very good dinner on site and the included breakfast had several options and you can choose all you wish to eat.”

“Es una reserva natural muy bien conservada con senderos que dan al Río Mindo. Realmente hermoso. El alojamiento es muy especial con cabañas de madera y Bambu muy acorde con el paisaje y al mismo tiempo de lujo y cómodas. “The property was ultra unique. Absolutely the middle of nowhere with the most beautiful views you could imagine. Just to top it off, the service was amazing and the food was excellent!!!! The steak was incredible and only 12 dollars! Can't say enough good things about this destination. ”

“Ignacio was so warm and welcoming!! He made our trip easy and relaxed. One of the best things he did was to arrange our looked forward to was a birdwatching experience. Our guide was the first female guide in Ecuador. She was excellent giving us so much time and her expertise in identifying a vast array of birds. Carmen’s cooking and homemade breads was exceptional. “Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that...

“Allt fungerade bra från incheckning till utcheckning. Hade ett härligt rum med bubbelbad. Poolen utanför var rätt stor. Personalen var trevliga och gav bra tips på vad man kunde göra och var. Även om jag inte skulle kalla det för frukostcafe så var det en bra frukost. Jag skulle dock inte rekomendera att äta lunch/middag på hotelet. Den var inte dålig, men du får bättre inne i Mindo.”

“Would not recommend particularly for families with small children. The restaurant doesn’t work (except for breakfast) and the rooms and hallways are paper thin and noisy. Once the first guest gets up, everyone wakes up. Although the hotel is close to town, and it has beautiful landscaping, I feel its overpriced by a long shot.”
