âVery comfortable , modern hotel , newly refurbished room with lovely staff . I was on a business trip but I felt like I was on holiday .

âHelt underbart stĂ€lle med jĂ€ttemysiga rum. Mycket tillmötesgĂ„ende vĂ€rdar som uppmĂ€rksammade varje gĂ€st och serverade individuellt bestĂ€lld frukost. Hög mysfaktor med levande brasa i matsalen. LĂ„g alldeles bredvid en typiskt engelsk lokal pub med bl a goda fiskrĂ€tter och pajer. En kulturhistoriskt mĂ€rkt omrĂ„de med vackra strövomrĂ„den, kor och hĂ€star och nĂ€stan tama rĂ„djur alldeles i nĂ€rheten.â
âLovely hotel in beautiful grounds and well kept gardens with outdoor seating with tables. Rooms light and bright, large comfortable bed, bath, shower everything that you need. Decor throughout hotel was excellent with dining area for evening meal with good choice of menu. Breakfast room was light and airy with pleasant views to the gardens. Staff always seemed very pleasant and helpful, rooms cleaned and fresh towels and bed linen. An enjoyable stay.â
âWe stayed at this wonderful hotel as we were attending the horse racing at haydock race course. The room was beautiful , the bed was divine and I slept so comfortably! There was a fan which was needed as the weather was hot (a shark fan - which is a real luxury touch) also tea and coffee making facilities, water, hairdryer, dressing table with accessible plugs!

There is a lovely village a short walk away, and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. â
âOur stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. âVery comfy beds led to a good nights sleep. Clean room. Big enough for a night. Room and hotel a bit dated but not overly to distract. Friendly and helpful staff. The pool, sauna and steam room where great. The changing area and lockers ideal. The showers didn't have a mat outside them so the floor was very wet and quite slippy when we stayed.
