âThe property and the staff at icaco were absolutely amazing. One of the most relaxing vacations my wife and I have done. It was convenient, comfortable , and very well maintained. We watched the sunset from the pool deck and sunrise and sea turtles from our balcony. The girls which gave us massages were just as amazing. This was our 2nd trip to Isla and it has become one of our favorite destinations. We will be back and we will definitely stay at icaco again. Thanks for the great memoriesâ
âThis place was so beautiful and quiet. I loved it. The people were so helpful. The front desk also helped me with getting a ride around the island to take some pictures from the taxi driver. The complimentary breakfast was simple and delicious. They had an espresso machine, pan dulce and fruits available. My room overlooked the surrounding jungle and beach it was amazing. â
âThis place is nice and quiet at the far south end. Not really possible to use the beach. Little bar in reception and nice pool. Unless you hire a golfcart, pay for taxi or manage to get a bus upon the big street you are stuck. â

âReally nice hotel. Slightly smaller then some of the larger hotel complexes on the island.
But that only creates a more cozy atmosphere. All amenities were great and the food and service was on top. Only downside is that the private beach often gets overrun by tourists that are leaving from the port next door.

âWe had a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. Just a heads-up, the walk from the ferry can be quite long, so Iâd suggest arranging for a golf cart in advance. You can rent one through the property, but they only accept cash, and the price is a bit higher. However, this wouldn't impact my overall positive review. âLet me start by saying. Iâm fortunate to have traveled the Caribbean often. Iâve been to Mexico many times over the last 20+ years and Isla Mujeres several times. Iâve stayed in everything from 5 star all inclusive to some down right outdated DIY hotels.
Casa Del Jaguar didnât miss. From the reception to departure everything was handled perfectly.

"The hotel is nice and the front desk people is super helpful.
The restaurant service is awful and their prices are ridiculously expensive. Very bad value for money. Rooms are clean, the furniture is a bit outdated but fit for purpose. Pool ok, the private beach is not clean, trash and rubble. You will be ripped off with the rent of the golf carts."
"The location is amazing and the beach is so beautiful. The area on the beach is very paradise like.
However one big issue during the whole stay was the loud music - both in the beach area and around the room (we had a jungle room). The music in the beach area is unnecessarily loud making it hard to talk and even read something. The music itself was good but why so loud? The music was an issue again in the room as there was a restaurant just next to it playing extremely loud music until 23:30 during the weekend. Thereâs a gap in the door which makes the music leak in and you can feel the bass in the room.
Another minus is the service both at the reception and in the beach/bar area. In general very slow and not so attentive.
Worth noting is also that there is a bathtub in the room but thereâs not enough water to fill it - after filled about 25% the water stopped running. "
