The property is very unique and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a great place to stay, I hope we can stay at Bella Mar again soon!! â
âTrevlig oas med hög service frĂ„n personalen. Fick hjĂ€lp med flera saker som t ex att fĂ„ klĂ€derna tvĂ€ttade. Att man kan vĂ€lja att inta frukost vid balkongen och den vackra utsikten ger semestern guldkant. Intog Ă€ven middag ibland som smakade mycket bra. AvstĂ„nd frĂ„n Downtown och urvalet av restauranger men det Ă€r det vĂ€rt med denna atmosfĂ€r. GĂ„r lĂ€tt att ta taxi mm. till en rimlig kostnad. UtifrĂ„n vĂ„r erfarenhet finns det bara ett förbĂ€ttringsförslag och det Ă€r lite mjukare sĂ€ngar. â

âI had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was excellentâsafe, quiet, dining, and comfortable transportation. The area felt welcoming and comfortable, which really added to the experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again.

âReally nice hotel. Slightly smaller then some of the larger hotel complexes on the island.
But that only creates a more cozy atmosphere. All amenities were great and the food and service was on top. Only downside is that the private beach often gets overrun by tourists that are leaving from the port next door.

âWe are a family of 4 and were staying at Ixchel in the end of february -22. We have been on Isla Mujeres 3 times before and absolutely love the Island. We have stayed at Ixchel on all occassions and can guarantee that it is the absolutely best place to stay on the island. First and most important is the location. âEnkelt boende nĂ€ra till allt! Rent och fint men nĂ„got slitet. Trevligt bemötande av personal och framförallt Ă€garen. Hade rum pĂ„ nedervĂ„ningen mot vĂ€gen men Ă€ndĂ„ stördes man inte nĂ€mnvĂ€rt av trafik eller oljud. VĂ€lj om möjligt rum mot havet för fantastisk utsikt. Finns dock solterass pĂ„ taket som alla kan nyttja. Fantastiskt att se solnedgĂ„ngen frĂ„n taket!

"The hotel is nice and the front desk people is super helpful.
The restaurant service is awful and their prices are ridiculously expensive. Very bad value for money. Rooms are clean, the furniture is a bit outdated but fit for purpose. Pool ok, the private beach is not clean, trash and rubble. You will be ripped off with the rent of the golf carts."

Thereâs a gap in the door which makes the music leak in and you can feel the bass in the room.
Another minus is the service both at the reception and in the beach/bar area. In general very slow and not so attentive.
Worth noting is also that there is a bathtub in the room but thereâs not enough water to fill it - after filled about 25% the water stopped running. "
