The lodge is situated in the countryside and a car with some clearance is recommended if staying here. The room was clean but there is no door to the bathroom. “The room was very nice and clean; staff were helpful as well. The owner actually helped troubleshoot my electric stove from Prague over video chat, that was cool of him to do that. This was a great stay. However, it felt like a couple's retreat and as a solo traveler it was A. Tad discouraging at times as I was there for 8 days; though perhaps a lack of research on my part. Hotellet har en egen liten strand (ex. hav) men det kvittade helt. Stranden har sköna beanbags att ligga på, så det slutade med att vi spenderade våra dagar fram till 15 på dem vid poolen. It was a 8-10 minute walk to the beach and the city center of Tamarindo but we really did not mind since it was nice to get away from the noise and buzz at night. We had a really nice and clean room by the pool. The breakfast was good, you could choose from a smaller menu each morning. ”
