“Lovely hotel up in Gora. Stayed for two nights as a relaxed stop between Tokyo and Kyoto which it was perfect for. Two nights is enough to see the major sights around Gora such as the Open Air Museum, the sulfuric volcano vents and Fuji. The room was traditional and neatly kept. Breakfast was good albeit a bit for or western tastebuds. We didn't eat dinner at the restaurant so can't say how it was. Very convenient that the hotel is next to the train and cablecar station.”

Surprisingly, the reception staff claimed that we had declined cleaning for environmental reasons, even though no one asked us during check-in. “Very convenient location, about 5min walk from Gora Station and there is a bus stop just right outside the entrance (where we took a straight bus to Gotemba Premium Outlets). Hotel lounge was cozy, with lots of seating options, food and drink areas, and even books/manga available for reading. Our room (Twin Room 30m2) was huge and the bed was really comfy.
