“If I can sum it up in one word…. ‘Wow!’ This hotel was amazing. I booked a Japanese style room on the upper floor of the west wing with a private onsen. The room was spacious, clean and really comfortable beds. Sitting in the onsen and having a ‘cold drink’ with the views was amazing. The hotel staff was excellent on check- in and check-out. Dinner and breakfast service was also excellent.”

Surprisingly, the reception staff claimed that we had declined cleaning for environmental reasons, even though no one asked us during check-in. “A nice ryokan with superfriendly staff. Beautiful private onsens and fine dinner in the afternoon. The rooms was old and worn out but very big. I missed some type of shop for late night snacks or something, but overall a very great experience. Will definitely come back to this place.”

They gave a very good overview of the stay, what to expect and where to find things. The meals were wonderful. Beautifully presented and tasty. We also had accommodations for Vegetarian and Vegan diners which made it an all inclusive experience for our group. ”

“We loved our stay and didn't want to leave! We had three nights in one of the Villas. It was completely private, the wood cabin was gorgeous and smelled amazing. We had a private outdoor bath in the villa and it was fabulous spending time out there. Both the traditional Japanese breakfast and the French breakfast buffet was a treat. Would recommend trying both. ”
