“We really enjoyed our stay at Karen’s Cottage with our 9 month old. The location was great — nice and secluded but still close to town. The cottage itself had everything we needed. We did a lot of barbecuing, and the bunkee was a big bonus. We had a visitor with a baby, and the way the bunkee and cottage were set up meant we didn’t disturb each other so it’s great for families! There’s a small play area out front with a swing both babies loved! We brought our cat and she was very comfortable...

“Hills Haven is such a relaxing getaway. Great view of the river. Lovely deck and sun room. Everything you need is provided. Very quiet location. Check out Furnace Falls very close to the cottage. Beautiful spot. ”

“The host was very responsive! The cottage was stocked to the max with condiments, basics like sugar, oats and flour. Everything worked. No wifi.Beds were comfy. The lake is beautiful. Caught fish right off the dock! Saw 2 pileated woodpeckers next door and there's a loon family on the lake. Fairy lites to guide the path to the dock at night. The weather was cold, windy and wet most of the time while we were there, but we could make a fire in the fireplace and in the outdoor firepit to be cozy...

“My wife and I enjoyed the quiet and seclusion of this cosy, clean cottage and its location with a view of its pond and surrounding woods. The bed was comfortable and kitchen and bathroom amenities were fine. The cottage was a short drive to walking trails and the town which has several historical features. Amy was very helpful and responsive to our questions and needs. We would certainly book the cottage again if we were to come back to this area of Ontario.”

“We had a lot of fun at this cottage! Its right on Crystal lake and has a large dock that you can swim and fish off of.We had a large group with us so it was nice to have all the bedrooms (including one large area for kids) and the 2 large areas to eat. We plan to come back again.”
