“Last minute fishing trip with my father. Cabin was as advertised and reasonably priced. Great view of the lake. Owner was great with communication on all questions we had. Would stay here again.”

“The cabins are cute and situated above the water with a nice view. The area is very nice and quiet and walkable out in the country. The cabins are dated with vintage kitchenettes and very basic furniture. You need to bring pretty much everything. Keeping in mind these are geared toward fishermen, a few added amenities could justify doubling the rates during the high season when they're kind of an overflow to the A-Bay vacation crowd. Added TP, paper towels, and a better mattress in the main...

“We had a unique and comfortable stay at Chateau Country Inn! The check-in and check out processes were smooth. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was complimentary, served at the advertised time, and was enjoyable! Overall, we had a very nice stay.”

“The room could have been cleaner, as there were several dead mosquitoes on the windowsills and the curtains were torn. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and spotless, and the pillows were soft. The view from the window was absolutely stunning and made the stay much more enjoyable.”

“Be sure to check in at their sister hotel 1.5 miles away, there is no office at the motel. The rooms that face the river have a parking lot in need of repairs as well as the steps leading to the rooms. The coffee maker did not operate in our room. While the bed, linens and bathroom were clean and fresh, there were dead bugs on the old heater below the a/c unit.”

“It was a nice area. The manager/owner was pleasant. Room was small, but cozy. Heater either got too warm or too cold. Back and forth.”

“We did not find out that the restaurant and continental breakfast were not available until we arrived due to construction. We should have been advised when we booked the hotel. Upon check-in, no one told us that there were cold breakfast items available in the office. Also, was a little disappointed to find that check-in time ended so early.”
