“A lot to like about this cottage - very close to beach, on a quiet dead end laneway, all new kitchen, very clean, good outdoor space with comfortable seating, grill, umbrellas, patio lights, good communication with owner. The only downside is that it's really small inside with a steep low ceilinged staircase. We were all over 65 and feared falling on it, even the shortest hit their head on one part of the ceiling! It's a vintage cottage, so just be forewarned. In the overpriced vacation rental...

“Your home is lovely and just as pictured. Our stay was fun and full of activities. We hiked the Cutts Island Trail in the Rachel Carson Refuge, visited Fort McLary, Fort Foster, the Portland Head Lighthouse, Portland Children’s Museum and Theatre, and an educational visit to Seacoast Science Center where we learned about different Owl species. Fantastic week and visit with our daughter’s family! Thank you for providing a wonderful home for our retreat.”

“Loved this place. Great location and it was a very quiet space (though I did go and off-season at the beginning of May). Stove and microwave took some getting used to, and I didn’t use the oven, but the kitchen was great. It’s a small space, and the loft is open to the living area so it’s best for a couple that goes to bed at the same time or someone traveling solo. Wish they had a fire pit, but the space was great.”
