Strandhotell i Hampton Roads

“This hotel works for a nights stay, but not much more. It’s close to the beach, but the beach is not very nice. Overall pretty clean, though there was a cockroach in the window at arrival. The guy at the front desk wasn’t too thrilled when I arrived at 10.30 pm, but maybe he had a bad day, or I looked shady. ”

“Hotel is in a great location if you plan on staying local, but if you're planning on going towards Kill Devil Hills or Nags Head then this isn't the place for you because traffic is BAD. Access to the beach is great. ”

“Pool was a nice amenity, housekeeping was so helpful and kind!”

“The staff was extremely rude at check-in. I was tired and english is not my native language, so I didnt understand att first when she explained the parking rules. She was very annoyed that i didnt understand. Later she rolled her eyes at us without reason. Then she scolded us and said we were rude and nasty even though we didnt say anything to her. I never been treated like this in my life. Dont stay here”

“Beautiful older hotel that is right on the beach. The rooms are very spacious. Very much enjoyed the stay.”

“No reception, you had to call a phone number and get a password for the digital doorlock. We had to wait 25 minutes in telephone que until answered. Then when answered they said the hotel was overbooked and our room therefore not available. They had no excuse and according to the hotel we finally managed to find with an available room on a fully booked site, they said that this hotel do so over and over again to be sure having it fully booked even with last minutes cancelled rooms.
