Hale o'Mahina vid Ha'ena (The Moon of House at Ha'ena) ligger inbäddat på en lugn gata med utsikt över havet och bergen. Du kan gå till stranden på en minut eller mindre.

Beläget på en stor tomt med mogna tropiska landskapsarkitektur, är detta tre sovrum tre badrum hemma den perfekta miljön för en romantisk tillflyktsort eller en minnesvärd semester med familj och vänner. Koppla av på den nyligen färdiga täckta Lanai med utsikt över bergen bakom dig och det vackra blå havet framför.

Detta rymliga hem har ett ��ppet koncept-vardagsrum med ett stort stort rum, matplats och kök. Välvda tak, trägolv och skiffergolv och teak-, ko- och bambusmöbler kompletterar den tropiska atmosfären.

Det finns en king size-säng i vart och ett av de tre sovrummen (varav ett kan omvandlas till två enkelsängar). Det finns tre badrum.

Det finns en gasgrill och ett fullt utrustat kök med rostfria vitvaror, perfekt för de dagar du vill äta i. Och det finns restauranger i närheten för de dagar du hellre vill äta ute.

Observera att på grund av den betydande översvämningshändelsen i North Shore i april 2018 pågår fortfarande stora reparationer. This place is clearly for sale

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the location was great for our family it was clear thatthe actual house has deferred maintenance that should be addressed if folks are renting. The dishwasher did not work (we did know this and were prepared to hand wash dishes) but the drains moved very very slowly. Filter was out on the fridge creating loud persistent beeping. The primary bathrooms tub drain does not work so we were able to take a bath which was very disappointing. There is very little view from the house. I would only recommend this property if these issues got fixed.The blinds in the master bedroom were broken.

We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing experience at this beautiful home! From the moment we walked in, we knew it was going to accommodate my family perfectly on our week long vacation! We have stayed in this exact area of Ha’ena quite a few times within the past 2 years but never at this particular home! I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again in the future! The huge lanai was the most popular spot for us all to embrace the breathtaking views of the ocean, sunrises and mountains! It’s heaven on earth!! The beach is steps away and is a perfect spot for snorkeling! I’ve been lucky enough to swim with turtles every time I’ve been out and it’s been life changing to experience! Kauai is our home away from home and we can’t wait to book this same home when we visit next year! We appreciated how spotless it was upon arrival! It did get extremely warm in the home with some of the fans not in working condition. However, we knew when booking that this home didn’t have A/C which wasn’t a big deal to us. It may be an issue for others who don’t realize just how hot it can get during the day and night. This particular home wasn’t as equipped with items needed to prepare meals as other homes we’ve stayed at in this area. The stove wasn’t in the best condition and made it difficult to prepare the meals we had planned for the week. So we did have to make other arrangements but again, it wouldn’t prevent us from booking this home again. Overall 10/10!

Reviewer Comments: If you want to get away from the main crowds this is the place to stay. note that in extreme weather you can get stuck here for a day or two as the bridges can close and roads can be blocked. the house is very clean, with plenty of space, very functioning kitchen and a great deck. due to possible floods the house is on stilts so a lot of stairs to climb so not ideal for people with mobility issues. drive into Hanalei is pretty quick and very pretty. We love this location as after heavy rains the birds sing, the flowers brighten, the sun shines and the rainbows appear, yes seriously beautiful nature. If you prefer convenience then I recommend you not stay in this part of Kauai.

Paradise

This home is a little slice of paradise. The location is amazing! About a block to the beach on a charming dirt road. We loved walking/running to Tunnels Beach in the mornings, walking to coffee at Colony Resort, Bbqing and playing cards on the deck and watching the sunsets at the point. Quick drive to Hanalei. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable. Has a pretty view of the ocean from the deck and you can hear the ocean waves crashing at night. A few things you need to plan on in this area due to the road closures and Covid. The restaurants have very strange hours so make your reservations very early. They open the roads in the evening and people flood in and there aren’t many walk ups available. Postcards is the best we ate at!! Plan you grocery store shopping because you have to drive to Hanalei if you need anything. Also plan your gas. We came with half a tank and then realized driving back-and-forth we were quickly going to run out so we had to quickly drive through the convoy to Princeville and back. A little nerve-racking thinking we might not make it back and be shut out for hours. We loved living the simple and so life for a week. Feeling refreshed going back to school and work and can’t wait to return someday.

Beautiful house

This is our second stay at this property. Very clean, modern house. Huge lanai. No AC but we stayed in August and it never fell warm. Cool ocean breeze. Beach access is right across the street. House is on a dirt road which is very cool. Would highly recommend staying here.
