“What an absolutely fabulous inn! Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful, the animals are well cared for, beautiful grounds, the food is incredible!! Comfortable beds, extremely clean... I could go on and on. Probably the nicest and best value out of any place I've stayed in recent years. We will 100% return to stay and also plan to dine at the restaurant more often. And we will be telling friends and family. Well done, to the owners and all the staff!!!”

“The place worked for a last minute ski trip. It was roomy and clean. The hot tub was old but hot. I think what threw me off was the conditon of the home. Parts of floors were peeling and walls needed painting to cover patch jobs. The appliances were a bit quirky (the microwave would not open after heating food and we had to unplug it). The host was responsive when we arrived to check in and the cleaning crew was still there. The location was great for skiiing. ”

“Nice place to stay. Only thing I will say is I noticed there was noise machines in every room and after hearing the guests downstairs slam doors and could hear them walking at night, I now know why! Kids had fun playing the games and I did enjoy the keurig. Didn't have enough time to try the hot tub. Didn't want to make too much noise at night outside. As it's a very quiet neighborhood.”

“This was a great place to stay for a family ski getaway to Crotchet Mountain. The whole establishment is small and quaint, with a few wings of guest bedrooms branching off of the main tavern/restaurant. But we didn’t feel like we were intruding on someone’s house, which is our main worry when staying at a Bed & Breakfast style inn. We have 2 young children, so we were concerned beforehand about being able to keep the kids contained from disrupting anyone else’s stay or making a mess in the...

“Great food, bar, and pool”

“My wife and I were in town for a family gathering and spent three nights at Blue Bear Inn. The building is very quaint and homey, but has all of the amenities you need to provide a very comfortable stay. The location is very pretty with nice views. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices and the bartender knows his business well. All in all we enjoyed our experience and will definitely stay there again when return, ”
