âWe were completely shocked at the state of the room. We requested the best they had, yet there were dead bugs on the sheets, a blood stain on the bed! And toothbrush residue splattered all over the bathroom mirror. We took pictures and I let the staff (a woman who remained on her phone during the entire conversation) know. I showed her the issues and she simply nodded and nothing else. We quickly left and ran next door to the Rusa hotel and stayed there. I don't understand how Expedia partnered...
âIt's a beautiful newish property with spectacular views!! It was clean and staff was super helpful and friendly.
The only negative is that it is hard to find - no signs on main street and kind of bad path off the main road. The outside of the property seems to be worked on still so hopefully it will all be resolved once finished.
Also not much to do right around there - but that is probably the case for many places around Bali.â

âI would give the hotel staff a five star rating! Super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The spa treatments were amazing!!
However, even though the hotel is only a couple of years old our room had already started to smell mold. The bathroom had ventilation, but it stopped when turning the lights of. The bathroom never dried up, it was always water on the floor which could be part of why the room smell like mold.

âWeâre a couple of foodies who love quality cocktails and this place just blew our minds. Pretty much everything is locally sourced, which is bonkers considering the huge amount of creations coming from the kitchen and bar.
Thanks to chef Sheandy, Arsana (bar) and Budi (butler) for making this an unforgettable experience.
