âThis was an absolutely fantastic place to stay. I had a friend's wedding in the area and being one of the further away guests travel expenses were already adding up fast. most of the hotels in the area for the time I needed to be there were a bit over my budget. Digging around a bit more, I found the belle Aire mansion guest house just down the road from one of the suggested hotels. It looked like a neat place, and the price was WAYYY more fair than the surrounding options I could find.

âAs I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. âClean and tidy. Very cozy and romantic. Just a bit stuffy with a strong moldy smell at the beginning from lack of airing it out hours prior but eventually your nostrils get used to it or the fan finally circulates the air around.
