The property sits right on the Mississippi so one can enjoy the scenery, barges going up and down and all over river traffic. You wont be disappointed in choosing to stay here. “This place was so nice stayed for two nights kids begged for a 3rd. Saw turtles,beavers, muskrats. Both kids caught their first fish ever right off the dock. Definite core memories. Beds/bedding were comfy and clean. Beach around the corner. If you need there are public swimming pools near. We went to mt carrol public pool and it was perfect. Have already booked stay for next year!! Thank you!”

We especially enjoyed the outdoor amenities, with the fire pit and hot tub right on the river, in view of the lock -- and under the stars.
