“Since this hotel was highly rated, we had some expactations. But we dont understand the high grade? The room was fine, the pool area was boring, small and looked unclean, The breakfast was OK for beeing in the US, but of course lots of plastics. The lobby is super tiny, the location is not very good; next to a road, but it is walking distance to town center/ the pier. I would give this hotel/motel a 7 out of 10. Seal Beach it self is a supercute little town that we absolutly wouldlike to visit...

“I can't understand why this place has so many good reviews? It's an ok hotel, not more than that. Room was small, bathroom was small. Glad I didn't bring a suitcase, would have been difficult to place it anywhere that wouldn't be in the way. Shower took forever to get warm water and with just a simple shower curtain the entire bathroom floor got wet. Only a small window, which couldn't be kept open and couldn't be locked. “Nice pools (warm and cool) outside. Very close and easy to get to the Honda Center for a hockey game (the reason for our visit) as well as a nice mexican place nearby. Not too exciting breakfast but they did cook pancakes on demand which was nice. Lower score for environmental friendliness since we were given plastic cutlery at breakfast. Hotel is a bit run-down but clean. ”
