“Everything was great! Just as described. It's a compact room, but with everything needed to be comfortable when not at the beach. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, and the beach itself felt remote even with all the buildings nearby. At low tide there was so much beach!! I got the resort passes but none of the facilities were pet friendly and they were quite adament about my wife not even carrying our tiny dog where pets weren't allowed. We made do. “The studio was very well equipped with modern amenities and a very comfortable bed (only wish it was King instead of Queen sized). Freezer was very small in the dorm style fridge. Very convenient to two great pools and the fitness center as well as the beautiful beach. Only problem we had was a very distraught dog next door whenever it's family left without her. She howled incessantly when they left the poor creature behind.”

Called for help, maintenance got the door open but could not lock it from outside-he called for technical help, discovered a router problem but did fix it. “The keyless entry lock on our rental unit’s door would not work—at the end of the day on Saturday with 2,10 and 11 year olds plus 2 adults wet from the beach and sandy because the showers coming off the beach near our unit did not work. The property manager sent a repairman—and he was tremendous. However—he worked on the door lock for over 2 hours without success and finally literally used a crow bar to force the lock to break and let us in. He profusely apologized for the inconvenience. “Property was very convenient to all Fripp amenities and two of three pools. Convenient walk to beach. We enjoyed the various pool options. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience despite the feedback that follows in this review. Exterior of property somewhat dated but some units are undergoing renovation and painting. “The room was poorly stocked and there was no hot water for nearly 2 days. The braided rug in the room was filthy and torn in a few places causing my wife to trip. Thankfully she did not fall. Very poor response time to any concerns we had. Very poor parking during the holiday weekend. This property is owned by The resort. “This unit is a good value for the money in a good location and was nicely updated. Proximity to beach and pools is great. A chest of drawers in the "closet" area would be a great addition. “Great location on the Island. We had a view of the pool from our room. Parking is tight and limited but since we were visiting on off season we didn't have issues finding a spot. I noticed the floors were quite dirty when we got there. I used paper towels to wipe up some greasy looking stuff by the couch and the towel was black with filth.
