We had the beach all to ourselves - the water was calm most mornings, perfect for kayaking with the seals. The interior furnishings are a quirky, eclectic mix of pieces. The living room and other common room couches are in need of replacement - they are not comfortable - but the views of the water made up for that inconvenience.”

“Everything was seamless about checking-in and out. Everything you could possibly think of is available for your use. You literally just need food and clothing. I wish there was AC, but my partner liked it warm. It did cool down late at night and there was a window fan to help. The owner put in a lot of thought in creating a peaceful stay. It was close enough to town to the local restaurants and activities. ”

“Such a great little place to stay - the neighborhood is so cute and lots of places to walk. The house has everything you need. Bathroom is large - 2 sinks. Beds are comfortable. Loved the snacks that they provided and coffee/cream. Loved the front sitting area. All was perfect!”

“This was our 3rd time staying at Venessa’s cottage so we were comfortable as we walked through the door. Venessa welcomes us as always. Though she lives across the yard she is never intrusive. The cottage has everything you need and the beds are comfortable. There are a lot of steps to the shore and the pebble/stone beach but they are worth it. You can walk long way along the shore finding sea glass and seeing seals, eagles, osprey and sea birds. The shore feels private as I only encountered...
