âRummet vi hyrde var mer som en svit. TyvĂ€rr inget sĂ€kerhetsskĂ„p eller möjlighet att sjĂ€lva koka en kopp kaffe eller te. NĂ€ra stationen sĂ„ lĂ€tt för oss att resa med tĂ„g. Buss till Castle Howard tog bara 15 minuter. Restaurangen serverade god mat av modernt stuk.â
âQuick and easy check in and out. Very comfortable beds in a large clean room. Excellent parking and easy access to the town. White a bit of noise from outside but for the rates and everything else about the hotel this is a minor point. The rooms were quite dated but I knew this when booking and it also felt like a very minor point for the stay. Overall had an amazing stay!â

âCashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way .
Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery.
So glad we had booked as they were turning people away !
The staff were excellent- friendly , courteous and attentive.
Lovely relaxing night away , helped by the English heatwave .â

âI can't really fault it. The property is nice, staff were really nice, the room was just what we hoped for. We had a lovely evening meal followed by a good nights sleep. Breakfast options were all cooked options, although I'm not a breakfast eater so only had some toast. â
âA gorgeous get away, with lots of lovely touches. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, comfy and clean. Breakfast was a real treat. Couldnât recommend enough!â

"The reception employees were not service minded during check in and out. I arrived at 11 am and asked about the possibility of early check in (anytime before 15:00 even paid for). The receptionist asked for my name and once I gave it, the reply was No, it's fully booked even though:
- he didn't even check.
- a couple that he helped before me got to check in.
- when I came back in the evening and asked for a floor fan, the evening receptionist said he'd look for any available in the "unoccupied rooms". Concluding that morning receptionist lied and the hotel wasn't actually fully booked. "
