The Mandarin är en privat villa vid vattnet i Hartswell, Great Exuma, med en fantastisk utsikt över Moriah Cay och dess skyddade nationalpark. Från din privata brygga kan du varje dag ge dig ut för att upptäcka orörda sandbankar, avskilda stränder och lugnt turkost vatten.

Detta rymliga hem har 4 sovrum och 4,5 badrum och rymmer bekvämt upp till 8 vuxna och 2 barn. En privat pool med havsutsikt, en stor tomt och en utomhusbar med Hibachi-grill gör det perfekt för familjesammankomster eller avslappnade kvällar. Huset är fullt luftkonditionerat, utrustat med moderna bekvämligheter och drivs delvis av solenergi med naturligt filtrerat regnvatten. En reservgenerator ger trygghet vid strömavbrott på ön.

Moriah Cay — känt för sina orörda stränder och kristallklara vatten — ligger mindre än 500 yards från dörren. Två kajaker och två stand-up paddleboards ingår, vilket ger friheten att utforska närliggande öar, fiskegrund och gömda vikar. För fler äventyr kan båtuthyrning ordnas till Stocking Island, Elizabeth Harbour eller Sandy Cay.

The Mandarin ligger på en lugn återvändsgränd bort från Queen’s Highway och erbjuder den perfekta balansen mellan avskildhet och tillgänglighet. Inom några minuter når du lokala sevärdheter, restauranger och Exumas naturunder, och på bara 20 minuter är du i hjärtat av George Town.

PERFECT escape for our family of 7! Everything as described...clean and completely furnished from kitchen utensils to ocean toys. The layout is great for gathering...and separating for privacy when you want. Monica and Krissy were super helpful and prompt to reply (Monica even stocked our fridge as we were to Christmas day and Boxing Day is also observed!)

This place is special and was perfect for our group. The kitchen is very well equipped and location is perfect between Georgetown amenities and the beautiful beaches in Little Exuma. The property is perfect for groups and very private. Water is incredible. Kayaks were fun. This place is paradise and would highly recommend this property.

The Mandarin House was perfect for our family of 9. Plenty of room to spread out and have our own space. The house had everything you would need for a great time in Exuma. Kitchen was well appointed with anything you might need for cooking meals. The generator was great for power outages. Filtered water available. Loved the pool and dock for boat we rented from Drex. He was great to work with. Monica and Jonas were great host and always responded quickly to any questions.

Paradise FOUND!

It’s hard to put into words the beauty of Moriah Harbor and being able to stay right on her beautiful waters in the Mandarin House. The property was so perfect for our group and allowed everyone their own space to sleep and relax. We loved being able to hang in the pool after our days on the boat and in the water. Many naps were taken floating in the late afternoon sun floating in that pool 😂. The wild life in the harbor right off the dock was spectacular. We saw sting rays, turtles, lemon sharks (harmless), puffer fish, and more! I could’ve explored the area for a month. I was so sad to leave after 8 days. It simply wasn’t long enough. Monica is such a gem and so so communicative, kind, and helpful! We just loved our stay and can’t say enough. I don’t think we will ever stay anywhere else on the island now.

Longest Day Vacation

The Mandarin checked all the boxes!!! We had a great stay and will keep it on the list to consider staying again!!! However, one of the bedrooms bathroom, you have to go outside to get to it. It's the pool bathroom. The only other thing to consider is the dock. Good built dock with deep water even at low tide. The ladder could be better. Our group had some 60 year olds and had to pick them up at Browns Marina just down the road. With the larger boat we rented for our group of 7. The dinghy runs great and is perfect for a sandbar visit. Pool was awesome and the air conditioning was amazing, trust me that's important! The kitchen is the common area and has plenty of room to meet eat and watch TV. The laundry room is perfect, out of the way so anyone could wash clothes and not disturb the other folks, it is where the half bathroom is located. Monica took great care of us, she had Krissy meet us and they always responded quickly and answered all our questions. So, 5 stars except for the pool bathroom and the dock ladder!

AMAZING!!!!

My family (my mom, 2 sons aged 15 and 26), my boyfriend, my son's girlfriend, and I stayed last week. This home is nothing short of amazing. The location is far enough from town that it is not loud or busy, but close enough to get what you need without a lot of hassle. The home itself was immaculate and everything you will need is available. We cooked 2 nights and every morning for breakfast and everything that we needed was available in the kitchen to prepare our meals. The rooms are spacious and the layout is such that you can enjoy privacy when needed. The view is to die for. My children fished off of the dock and we did snorkel from there. We saw sting rays and had a turtle that kept us company every day while we were there (we named him Samuel) and he likes to eat squid. There was also a small nurse shark that hung out one day. We were able to rent a boat and go to some of the sandbars that are closeby and I cannot decribe the beauty. We were also close enough to go to Chat N Chill for a while one day by boat. Definitely rent a car so you can get to dinner and the market because it is about a 20 min ride into town. Overall, if i could give 10 stars, I wouldn't hesitate. The owners were always available (I communicated with Monica on multiple occasions, she always responded very promptly, answered all questions, and we were greeted at the home upon arrival. Definitely worth every penny!

Magical time with friends and family

We loved our stay at the Mandarin House. It was perfect for a group of long time friends. Everybody had both space to get away and a great family spaces to get together. We cooked together, hung out by the pool and explored the island. Monica made excellent recommendations for activities, services and restaurants. The staff is great too, they came by frequently to check on things and make sure we had gas for the grill, towels and supplies. I would recommend that they get new paddles for the paddle boards. Overall we had a great time.

Beautiful island, lovely people!

Beautiful spot, super convenient, lovely people. Groceries easy to find. Kitchen perfect for food prep and group meals. Sitting by pool lovely. We had some challenges with the ac units smelling of mold due to lack of use, bleaching prior to guests arrival would solve that.

The house was absolutely perfect!! Monica had fast, excellent communication from the time we booked through check out. We hired a Chef Keva to cook our meals which is an excellent way to fully enjoy your vacation. We loved hanging out at the bar area after a long day on the water. The dock was perfect for our boat rental drop off where we explored Moriah Cay and then spent the afternoon at Chat n Chill. A short drive to Tropic of Cancer Beach which might be the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. We had a lovely dinner at Blu on the Water, a short drive from the property. I would highly recommend the Swimming with the Pugs All Day Tour (Staniel Cay). So much fun! It also includes a stop to see endangered Iguanas, swimming with Nurse Sharks, snorkeling Thunderball Grotto, and lunch at Staniel Cay Yacht Club. Would absolutely stay here again!

Birthday/Anniversary Getaway

The perfect place for 2 couples. It was great-each couple had their own space in the evening but we ate breakfast together in the main house each morning and gathered to play cards and just hangout. We were there in September and there were not a lot of restaurants that were open so we did a lot of cooking in the evening as well. Would definitely recommend.

Great week in paradise

We stayed in The Mandarin for a week in July. It was amazing! Great location as long as your ok being outside of town (which we were)! Only minutes from Forbes Hill (highly recommend). We rented a boat for three days and it was wonderful having it to visit places like Chat N Chill, Hoppers Bay and Starfish Beach. The dingy was used the other days and it worked great while we were there. We fished and snorkeled right off the dock. The house was plenty big enough for our group of 11 (6 adults, 5 kids with one being a toddler that slept in the crib included with the house). There were minor issues that Monica addressed appropriately. The property could use some freshing up (like a new dining table- it was on the verge of breaking while we were there) and some additional kitchen supplies (like cookie sheets)…minor things in the grand scheme. It was a dream vacation with our family and we made memories that will live on forever!!
