AWESOME GETAWAY
Place was turnkey, everything you would need is there. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Wish we had more time at the cabin during our week stay, but our plans kept us away. Definitely one of the best cabins we have stayed at. A return trip where we can just enjoy the cabin is in our future.

Lake Hartwell Cabin
Great location, close to Hartwell and about 30 mins from Senaca. The cabin is well maintained. Located in a quiet location. The neighbors are very friendly along with the host. Pictures don’t the cabin just. The cabin is a little dated but everything is well maintained. John has thought of every little detail to make your stay more comfortable. There was fire wood for the fire pit and charcoal for the grill. Would definitely book this cabin again.

A nice place to get away from it all
This was a cute little cabin nestled in the woods on a cove. It was perfect for me and my husband. I was able to float in my raft all day without being disturbed by any lake traffic! The pictures and description the owner gives are accurate. There is no dock, but you can get in the water very easily. The layout of the cabin is nice. The main living area is open and spacious. The bedrooms are small, but the beds are really comfortable. I slept better than I have in years! John is a great host and we would definitely go back.

I’m curious to know what I could have done better to get a 5 star review when you seemingly didn’t have anything bad to say about the property? Was it because when you booked the property and didn’t pay the pet fee which I later requested you pay since you brought a dog? If the platform doesn’t make that an easy process we should give feedback to VRBO rather than give me a lesser positive review.

Great value/great neighborhood
Great value if you are looking to rest, relax, and take showers! The property needs a little updating but, honestly, we didn’t spend much time there.

Remote cabin with a view.
We enjoyed the view from the great room so much that my daughter opted to sleep on the couch so she could view daybreak over the finger lake every morning. The house was very comfortable during the one day of torrential rains and very cold mornings that we experienced during our stay. The property was very clean and well maintained. There was a path to the lake that had been cleared of leaves which we really appreciated. I would definitly choose to stay there again.

Better then expected
The pictures don’t do this property justice! Yes it is a little dated and a older property, but the location worth its weight in gold and You will definitely find everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Loads of hiking trails, out favorite was Yellow Branch Falls Trail. It’s a 40 min drive from the property, but the waterfall is worth it. Everyone is super friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan on visiting again.

Lake Hartwell Cabin
The cabin was well stocked other than pots and pans. There was one skillet, one large pot and one glass sauce pan. If anyone wanted to do cooking, there was little to do it in. The photos of the unit are accurate. A little updating would not hurt. The furniture in the living room is not comfortable and the smaller bedroom mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The biggest thing that needs to be done is a deep cleaning. All surfaces were clean, but other areas were very dusty. Organization in the kitchen cabinets and drawers would be good too. Being on the lake, it would be nice to have a dock or permission to use one of the neighboring docks. The owner was pleasant to visit with and I am sure if we had any issues, he would have been right there to take care of them. We mentioned the cleaning and I am sure he will mention this to his cleaning service.

Relaxing stay!
The property was exactly as described, and we had a very relaxing stay. My son brought his kayak, and enjoyed fishing in the cove. The dogs enjoyed the beach, and my husband and I were able to spend some quality time with our teenagers. :)

Relaxing break from mental chaos
Lovely cabin which was peaceful, woodsy, waterside but also in a friendly neighborhood. Great parks and hiking in the area. Our dog loved swimming in the lake. The hosts were great -- helpful and friendly. Would definitely return.

Awesome Getaway!!!

3-day tranquility
Great space for what we needed. Pet-friendly which is what made our decision, great little porch out back table and 4 chairs oh, perfect. Made use of the fire pit and launching are paddle boards from The Cove, what you see is what you get. Thanks John

Clemson Family Weekend
What a great cabin! The owner was so gracious, and our weekend could not have been more perfect! The cabin is within a reasonable distance to Clemson, and we loved having our 2dogs enjoy the cabin with us.

Perfect weekend getaway!
Adorable house by the lake. Very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and windows throughout that brought in lots of sunlight. I live south of Atlanta and my daughter is a student at UGA in Athens. We both have very hectic schedules and needed a break. We were able to get away for Labor Day weekend and this provided a peaceful place of refuge for us. The owner was very nice!

Quiet and relaxing!
Had a wonderful 2 weeks here. So pretty and quiet. The cabin is rustic yet clean with awesome central AC when it got really hot out. Tons of windows so feels like you are out in the woods when its raining or too hot. Kitchen had all we needed to cook all our meals at home. Lots of time spent outside in the shade on the nice deck. Lake is awesome. We brought our tandem kayak and 12 minute paddle out to island beach. Water super clean. So quiet, not too many other people in the area even for 4th of July time. Place is remote with great walking and running. Very friendly neighbors, super private. 20 minute country drive to town and groceries and restaurants. Pics and description are accurate. John super helpful great communication. LOVED IT!

Wonderful place to stay!
This cabin is a wonderful place to stay. We were there 9 days to fish Lake Hartwell. The cabin had everything we needed. We cooked most meals in and the kitchen was more than adequate. Sitting on the deck and looking at the lake was lovely. It was convenient to Hartwell, Ga for supplies. All around a fantastic and very comfortable, clean, well equipped, and beautiful place to stay. I would return and certainly recommend this cabin!

Wonderful stay
