Wonderful stay
Property was a great spot to relax in between sojourns, especially on Lanai with ocean breeze. Location is great. We thoroughly enjoyed our week.

Views Are Amazing
We typically stay in the Golf Villas but decided to give the Ridge a try. The location is fantastic and the views from the condo are spectacular. But, in our opinion, that was the end of the good reviews for this condo. Not sure why it has 5 stars. It is the most dated condo we've stayed in. The carpets are so old there is no padding left under it and it is dirty. I never wear shoes indoors but we felt we had to in this condo. My socks were dirty after wearing them once. The lanai is extremely small and there is no privacy from it at all. The condo is right next to the walking path to the pool and out of the complex so it is busy and can be noisy. Sitting on the lanai has zero privacy from that and people are within feet of you. The microwave doesn't work properly. Only 2 power levels, 1 and 10. Nothing in between. Not a well stocked kitchen although the blender worked great for the chi chi's! The dryer's heating element seems to be going on it. The bathroom/shower drain was so clogged that we had to go get some Liquid Plumber! The cleaners should have noticed this right away! The cleaners also didn't clean the windows so we had to do that as well so that we could actually see the ocean. The furniture is very old and the chairs are very uncomfortable. The bed is really soft so if that bothers you, as it did my husband, you may not like it. I found it fine though. While we loved the location we didn't care for the condo.

"We were surprised to receive this review as our condo has always received 5 Stars and we never heard from this guest during the stay about any issues. We would have been happy to try to resolve any concerns. The condo is in original condition which is apparent throughout the pictures. The kitchen is fully stocked but we are always open to suggestions of what we could add. We have never had any complaints about the location being too busy or noisy. We appreciate the guest's feedback about the carpet and the microwave - we will look into these concerns immediately."

The property is a 5 minute walk to the beach and has lovely views of the ocean. You get that serene Hawaiian vibe with the rattan furnishings and decor. The condo is immaculate and very well stocked, which I remembered from our last visit there...and we'll be back!!! Mahalo.

Amazing views!
We love this condo. It's clean, well-stocked, quiet and has amazing views. The condo might not be as updated as some, but it's very clean and a great value for the area. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and good equipment for you to use at the beach. We like it enough that we have stayed here twice and hope to visit again in the future.

Kapalua Ridge Gem
Kapalua is my husband and my favorite place to stay on Maui, specifically The Ridge. This condo offers spectacular views of the ocean in a peaceful, well manicured neighborhood. It is comfortably furnished with lovely artwork throughout! Though my husband and I enjoy dining in the many wonderful restaurants in the area, you’ll find the well-equipped kitchen perfect for creating your own delicious meals. The bedroom is extremely comfortable with a large well laid out master bathroom suite. Reserved parking is conveniently located right outside your door. The unit is well cared for and is spotless. Jenni is lovely to work with and is just a call/text away should you need help. We look forward to our next visit to Maui and to this standout condo!

Perfect stay
This unit is the perfect getaway. The minute we walked in, we loved it. The views from the living area and the bedroom were spectacular. The unit was so well equipped with everything one might need including spices, water and pop in the fridge. We fell in love with the area and this could not have been a better place to stay.

Great spot
This place feels like you are staying at a friend’s place - and I mean that in the best way. It is homey, comfortable, has everything you need to make meals and live comfortably. You can walk to restaurants, beaches. Some great walking trails - really recommend the Village Walk on the old golf course. Good birding in the forest. And even though it is a busy area of Maui, the Ridge Estates is quiet and peaceful.

Gorgeous view , well stocked condo
The very best condo we’ve rented of the past 30+ years. Beautifully professional decorated and well stocked with everything you could possibly want; beach chairs, umbrellas, beach bag, cooler for cold drinks; a fully stocked kitchen with appliances, dishes etc and the unit was immaculate clean. Just remember to take your shoes off when you enter The wide view of the ocean can be seen from the main floor and upstairs bedroom sliding glass doors Three beaches were close by, one was 10 min walk & Napili & Kapalua we’re less than 10 min drive. We definitely want to rent this unit when we return to Maui as it definitely spoiled us

We went to Maui to get married. This location and Villa was perfect. Jenni was kind enough to give us a late check out time as a wedding gift as our flight was changed. The Villa was super clean and quit. There was a little store on the property that had a little of everything without having to drive into town for. Jenni was easy to reach and comminicate with. The property was minutes walk to the ocean. Every window had a most beautiful view of the ocean. It is located on a wonderful beach for swimming too. Her prices are very affordanle for everything you get. We didnt even go out to eat much. We bought food and cooked right there. Everything was provided as far as kitchen supplies. The pool is right behind the unit and again perfect with bathrooms and BBQ grills. I cant say enough great things about this rental and Jenni. We will be back for an anniversary one day.

Great value and amazing views
This unit was a great value for the area and we would definitely stay there again. The sea views are amazing from both lanais. The unit is spacious and well laid out to benefit from the afternoon breezes. The community is very quiet, especially in the evenings so it was easy to unwind after a long day at the beach. The unit was very clean and was well-stocked with everything we needed. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back and stay there again. Thanks for sharing your wonderful place with us.

Fantastic condo in the ideal location
We have stayed in condos at The Ridge in Kapalua for many years, and have never been disappointed. This property is a shining example everything we look for - clean, comfortable, organized, lots of extras (Thomas Bahama beach chairs and umbrellas!!), sweet views in a quiet location with a solid property manager. Close to All of the Best Beaches!
This was our first trip to Maui and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The condo was close to Napali and Kapalua bay, the two best beaches on the island. Slaughterhouse bay was less than 10 minutes away. We were central to all of the restaurants and shopping. The best of all - the view from the condo and the breeze from ocean in the morning and night. Absolutely one of the best rentals we’ve ever stayed in.

Best Stay Ever
This was definitely the best VRBO rental we have ever enjoyed, a fantastic condo, and accommodating manager/owner. The Kapalua Ridge rental is not only a good value, it is an outstanding unit. After staying in a few other Ridge rentals over the years, we appreciated the location and the view you get with Jenni's rental. It is next to the walkway which leads right down to both the beach and pool, making for super easy access to both. It made pool and BBQ access quick without being too close to hear any noise. The pathway also affords a nice opening between buildings to give you that terrific view. Inside the unit every thing is clean and well maintained. The kitchen is especially well stocked, the AC units on both levels keeps you comfortable even when a rare Kona wind blows. I would say the unit is even better in person then in the pictures. Being an end unit, it made the condo feel more like a little house, a little house with the best view and location you could ever have. We love all the outdoor adventures you can access walking right from this unit, we hiked multiple trails, snorkeled two bays, kayaked, and generally frolicked on the three beaches. You will not find a better rental on Maui. We'll be back:-)

Beautiful Kapalua Condo
We loved staying here for three weeks! The condo was great, clean, as pictured, a two-level, spacious one-bedroom with all the amenities. We sat on the deck/porch/lanai every morning and watched whales and they didn’t disappoint. The beach was an easy walk. We went to some great restaurants and also cooked meals on the condo. Jenni was very easy to communicate with for any questions.

This was the nicest VRBO my wife and I have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in lots. The unit itself is beautiful, the view from the 2nd floor bedroom and the first floor sitting area is stunning and the location is fantastic. It is perfect for one couple but could also accommodate a couple of others comfortable sleeping together on a pull out couch on the first floor.. The unit is very close (walkable) to lovely beaches and also to nice restaurants. Would recommend the place and the location to anyone travelling to Maui. Dave and Lynn

Wonderful Place to Stay
Jenni's home was a treat to stay in. The views of the water from the downstairs patio and upstairs balcony (right off the bedroom) are beautiful -- deep-blue ocean, Dragon's Teeth outcropping, and lush green mountains all in one vista. The home is in a quiet community, and the unit is right next to the pool and the beach access. Still, no noise from the pool (that we heard), and only the occasional quick conversation of someone walking up the path. The beach is a 3-5 minute walk, Napili is probably a 10-minute walk, Lahaina is a quick drive (although you could easily walk there, too, along the Kapalua trail). Dragon's Teeth is maybe a 6-minute walk. Some of the best snorkeling is a quick drive. We were extremely fortunate to find this place, and we would stay again in a heartbeat next time we're in Maui.

Perfectly relaxing vacation
My husband and I have visited Maui a number of times, but this was by far our favorite place to stay. The condo was in a perfect spot, not only because of the beautiful views from the upstairs balcony and downstairs patio, but also how easy it was to walk to a number of beaches, Makaluapuno point, the pool, and to enjoy a number of restaurants and cocktails at the Montage and Ritz grounds. Since this was our first time traveling in a year and it still mid-pandemic, we were nervous about travel. But the condo was immaculately clean and away from the tourists in Kaanapali and other locations. The hostess was so nice, made check in very easy, and gave great recommendations for nearby activities. We had such a wonderfully relaxing time we can’t wait to come back!!!

Great location with views
We enjoyed seven beautiful days at the ridge. The property was extremely comfortable and quiet. Great proximity down to the beach as well as to the pool. The condo is very well appointed. Communication with Jenni, property manager was very timely. We had a few hiccups as we began our stay but they were quickly remedied by Jenni. We love the walking proximity to three different beaches. Had everything very close by that we needed. I appreciate it having all the beach Attire so all we had to bring with us were carry-on bags. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the property.

Spacious accommodations, great area,
The property was very spacious for a 1 bedroom unit. The kitchen is well-stocked with the necessary utensils for preparing onsite meals. The location is very good as you are only a few steps away from the pool and the outdoor cooking area. We fixed steaks for a couple of evenings using the grills. The unit also has beach chairs and towels which we used on our days at the beach. Saves on having to pack towels or renting chairs. The view is great from the unit with a clear view of the Ocean from both lanais. You really know you are in paradise. We have stayed in the Kapalua area several times in the past and really enjoy the quiet of the area. The area has a less crowed feel than some of the resort areas around Kaanapali, a nice area to take a leisurely walk. Jenni, the owner, was very easy to communicate with and very responsive to our questions. We will definitely stay there again as this unit is a great value.

Amazing View! Total Relaxation.
Exactly what we were looking for on our trip. Nothing like waking every morning looking out at the ocean and watching the waves crash and see the whales. Great location and property had everything we needed. Bed is super comfortable as well. Would stay here again for sure. Hate to leave already.

Lovely Kapalua
Jennifer is running a terrific VRBO. Although the unit doesn't get much sun, the unit fit our needs perfectly and we enjoyed every minute of our stay here! Thank you for sharing your lovely condo with us; the Maui Magic will linger because of this. We agree with another review, the original artwork adds a beautiful touch & we appreciated cooking in the well stocked kitchen. Mahalo!

This condo was perfect for our Maui vacation
My wife and I stayed at this condo in Maui during the holidays. Overall, this condo was clean and in a great location with a good level of privacy. The condo complex/neighborhood is really nice, clean, quiet, and felt safe. Jenni made herself readily available before and throughout our stay. The location is great, located in Kapalua where its bit quieter than other resort type of areas. There is a beach within a 5 minute walk which is great so you dont have to fight for parking. The bed was comfy. There are some great restaurants, golf courses, and a spa really close by. The Kapalua Coastal trail is right there for a nice hike. The condo was clean and well equipped with kitchen, bath, and beach essentials (ie chairs, towels, cooler bags). The decor (ie carpet) is a bit outdated but didnt bother us and my wife really enjoyed the large tub. There are 2 lanais located off the living room and bedroom. We watched whales while eating breakfast on the lanai. The complex also has a nice pool available. Given the value, conveniences, layout,and location, I do not think we would ever stay anywhere else and look forward to staying there again.

Relaxation at it's finest!
First off, let me say that the pictures of the property do not do it justice! The condo is fantastic and very tastefully decorated. Local artist art is prominent in the condo and one of the artists is featured in the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua permanent collection. This gives you an idea of the care with which the condo is appointed. The location is so quiet, and the view is breathtaking! From either Lanai you can watch the whales in season (we were there in February), and the crashing of surf on Ironwoods beach can be heard through the day and night. The stars are so close you feel you can reach out and grab them at night, and during the day there is snorkelling, golf, beaches, and great restaurants very close. Well appointed is an understatement, with plenty of pots and pans, beach chairs and umbrellas, and towels, linens, and pillows easily found in the condo. Jennifer also has the condo appointed so that if you forgot something, you are probably set, and there are seasonings and some staples there so you don't have to spend a fortune at the grocery store to enjoy eating in. Full size appliances, a large refrigerator, and barbeque grills just a few steps away make cooking effortless. I could go on for quite some time to tell you just how much we enjoyed the condo, but I want to make it quick and simple... we could not have enjoyed it more, and the condo felt so comfortable that we could easily see ourselves making this a forever home! I surely hope that we can return in the near future!

A Wonderful Stay
I loved staying at this villa and have no hesitation in recommending it. The villa has a wonderful ocean view, and is a short walk (down a set of stairs and a bit of a hill) to the ocean and to the excellent Kapalua coastal walkway which connects three beautiful beaches. I walked almost daily to Kapalua Beach, which is great for snorkeling, and to D.T. Fleming Beach which is great for boogie boarding. The villa was clean, spacious, nicely-decorated, and featured lovely art work from local artists. There is a lanai off the master bedroom upstairs, as well as a lanai and a small green space off the living room, both with that marvelous ocean view. The villa was well stocked with everything I needed in the kitchen, and I appreciated that items like saran wrap, paper towels, tea, etc. were provided. There are two bathrooms, and a washer and dryer, complete with laundry soap. The Kapalua area is a little quieter and less busy than many of the beaches and resort areas further south, and the weather is usually a bit cooler, with more cloud cover, wind, and rain/mist - but I like all of those things! Finally, Jenni was a pleasure to deal with, and I would love to stay at this villa again.
