Excellent condo & management
We throughly enjoyed our stay in this 2 bedroom condo in the Honua Kai resort. We have previously rented many condos but none were as clean at this one was upon our arrival. Communication with the host, Fereshteh was excellent. We had one small issue that was resolved quickly. Some of the small details included: shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in each shower; dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, garbage bags,use of 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, pool noodles and cooler. The beach towel kiosks were easy to use. The free underground parking was appreciated and we had no trouble finding spots. The grounds and pools of the Honua Kai resort are beautiful and well cared for. The beach walk boardwalk made for a nice morning walk/run. I would absolutely recommend renting this unit.

Great condo, poor lighting
Great place for family. We cooked a lot for dinner and had to buy some tongs as the ones in the condo were huge. We also left some beach towels. My only complaint is the lighting throughout the condo. If it is overcast or dark it is hard to see things in the kitchen . The bathroom lighting could be brighter. Enjoyed our stay, will get a condo overlooking the ocean next time

Thank you for your review. I am so glad you enjoyed your vacation at our condo. The lighting is fine, Our inspectors check everything prior guest checkin and after checkout. Someone had turned down the dimmer in the bedroom. If you had contacted us during your stay, we would have taken care of it for you.

Great condo
We had the best vacation. The unit was incredibly clean and spacious. It fit our family of 4 perfectly. Watching the sunrise from the lanai each morning was such a wonderful way to start our day and the resort had everything we needed. The location is great, the staff are wonderful, and the property manager was incredibly proactive and so easy to work with. Book this condo! You will love it!

Great Location on the Beach
This condo faced the mountains so you can sit on the balcony to watch the sunrise. The condo was spacious and has all the amenities needed to spend the day on the beach instead of the pool. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice property
Good location and nice property to stay at. Only thing that could have been better was the dryer. We did not contact the property manager regarding this, but, the dryer didn’t really work well.

Paradise
Everything was perfect! The condo was comfortable, clean, and well equipped with everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. The resort and its location were absolutely amazing. Swimming with the sea turtles on the beach in front of the resort was nothing short of magical. Thank you for sharing your fantastic property family will cherish our memories made for a lifetime.

Beautiful mountain views
We had a great stay at this condo. Loved the beautiful mountain views and relaxing atmosphere. Fereshteh was a great host and even offered to send the cleaners back after they skipped a few spots. Overall, we were pleased with the condo and would stay again.

Beautiful condominium in a great location
We truly enjoyed our stay at this property; it was modern, clean, and has a great location. The condo looks recently updated and is beautiful. It is also in a great location- close to parking, the beach, pool, everything we needed. We would definitely return and stay here again!

Family Vacation/ Birthday Bash
We booked mid March with Covid still in full swing and knew what we were getting ourselves into. We booked for my husband's birthday/daughters birthday/ Anniversary. The resort was clean. Dukes was always booked but the pool staff walked around enough to order through them. We had 2 issues pop up but the owner answered and fixed right away! Great Stay

family vacation
well appointed, clean and comfortable for family with children. love that there are boogie boards, sand toys in the closet for kids to use. This location has great pools and has the convenience of the grocery store, various stores nearby.

Property-10 Housekeeping-1
The property itself was very nice. And I would stay here again. However, here is a list of issues that I had with the room (622) itself and were mostly related to housekeeping: -hairs on the pillows -shower floor was dirty -bathroom counters were unclean -light switches were not clean and has makeup/food on them -trash left in drawers -previous persons clothes left in laundry baskets -food under sofa * The cleaning was downright unacceptable during a pandemic! We also had a overflow in the washing machine drain due to a clogged pipe and the water was turned off for 1 night due to a leak in the building. Perhaps the owner will address the housekeeping issue since we are paying for this service! If you can stand these issues, it is a great place to stay! The provided cooler and beach chairs were a nice addition to have.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry and very surprised by your comments. You did not say anything about the cleaning when I texted you after arrival and when we discussed the main water line break that affected neighborhoods from Kaanapali to Kahana.

Great property and room for family work and play
Recently stayed at this great property and room during mid-December to for a week of remote work/school on Maui. The room was clean, had great appliances and a full kitchen setup that allowed us to pickup supplies and do our own meals in a very convenient way. Room also comes with a great set of beach chairs, body boards, and sand toys to make beach time a blast. The Honua Kai property was very safe and clean during COVID. Felt like it was at half occupancy, everyone was wearing masks while not in the pool, less chairs setup for social distancing, and rules to only allow 1 party/family per elevator. Fereshteh was very responsive, helpful, and proactively checking into to make sure our stay was great. Would definitely stay again and recommend this property owner/manager again.

Wonderful property!
Excellent, very comfortable property. Had extra amenities like dish soap, trash bags, paper products making the stay very easy. Owner was immediately accessible by mobile phone and text. Great location including several pools to choose from and great access to paved walking path along Kanaapali beach. Mountain facing view was beautiful and quiet and probably better than the ocean facing views from this same property which probably get noise from the pool.

Great place for family vacation!
We had a wonderful time with 6 of us staying at this condo! It had everything we needed to cook meals, was very comfortable, and the resort was great! Beautiful & fun pools, great beach and boardwalk to walk down the beach 1/2 mile to a great snorkeling spot, and towel service (which was so convenient!). It was very windy a lot of the time during our stay, so we didn't end up using the balcony as much as we'd hoped, but the place has beautiful views of mountains and we got to see several rainbows! It was quiet (we weren't bothered by our neighbors) and well insulated. The place also had boogie boards and pool noodles, which we enjoyed using. The property manager was very easy to communicate with and responsive. We had a great time!

Great location and for families!
Property was great for our family of 6. It had sand toys, chairs, boogies boards...pretty much anything you needed for the beach. The kitchen has everything you would need for meals. Bathrooms had plenty of towels, toilet paper and a start with complimentary shampoo and soap. We loved the pools at Honua Kai, the slide was super fun!! The location was great to many beaches nearby. Perfect spot for families. Fereshteh was responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Great location
Beautiful property. Great pools for parents who just want to relax while the kids frolic. Fantastic beaches with all the sand you could want and amazing snorkeling opportunities right there. You could just stay put and have an amazing Hawaiian vacation. We will be back.

Great Maui Vacation!
Aloha! Fantastic condo and resort - excellent for families or couples - the best of both worlds - a private condo in a fabulous resort setting. The facilities, amenities and location is superb. The condo has all the necessities of a 5 star hotel and the owner was amazing to deal with. There is a great coffee shop and restaurant on site with delicious food and drinks. The location is close to grocery stores, shopping and restaurants making the whole experience one to remember. We had a great time at the condo and was very impressed with all it had to offer!! Great location
The location was fantastic, the property a very well maintained. The unit has windows on two sides and provided for beautiful morning sunrises. The unit has everything you would expect and everything was well maintained and in good working order. You will enjoy you stay here!!
