Before our arrival, our hosts kept us informed about local weather and road conditions, so we could time a safe arrival. During our stay, they continued to ensure that all of our needs were met. The Peak-A-View Mountain Retreat was the perfect place to stay during our time at the John C. Campbell Folk School. The cabin is clean and cozy and our dog enjoyed the fenced back yard. ”

“The host was very good. She was very informative. The house was beautiful and very roomy for the family. I did try to light a fire , but found the lighters were unusable and there were only two matches. As she informed us ahead of time, the road up was very challenging. Maybe a few more directional signs would help. The views were spectacular, and the surrounding areas were as well. Besides the lack of lighters, we had everything we could need. We enjoyed ourselves very much”
