Welcome to Bear Creek Lake Retreat!! We know you'll love our waterfront home as you make memories with family and friends. Sleeps 14 with 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Enjoy your private beach, fishing, swimming, Kayaking, bon fire in the back yard. Enjoy siting in the hot tub with an amazing view of the lake. Cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy the lake view from the living room, or you can challenge friends to a game of pool, air hockey, and ping pong.

You have your own private beach with access to Kayaks and a rowboat.
The lake is great for fishing. Lots of outdoor space to play yard games.
Relax in the second floor living room and enjoy the wildlife , deer, geese, ducks

First floor has a fully stocked kitchen, dinning room, living room, game room/bedroom, master bedroom with private bath room, laundry/half bath, foo's ball, and ping pong

Our home is a mile to the pool, pickle ball and tennis courts the community also has 2 beaches about 1.2 miles from the house.

Hot tub was wonderful. Relaxing taking in the view while others are sitting around the fire pit in front of the beautiful foliage and lake. Nature’s elements were amazing! Extremely spacious with so many “living rooms” to hang out in. Although we couldn’t get into town due to high volume of traffic from the amazing festival, we just came back to the house and enjoyed hanging out there for our entire 3 day stay. Linda the host, was very communicative! There were 10 women enough room for all! Definitely going back next October! Thank you Linda! TheYa’s from CT

This was a beautiful, well maintained property. The outside fire pit was the best with the view and wildlife to enjoy morning through night. This was a very clean property with plenty of room for 5 to move around and enjoy. Great beds, great outdoor spaces, perfect hot tub with a great view of the lake, awesome game room and very clean along with the communication with the host was so easy. This was close to Jim Thorpe and close to many places to visit as well. Just a perfect property for our girls extended vacation. I would recommend this property 10 times over. Thank you for our perfect memorable stay.

Great house right on Bear Lake. We used the rowboat and 2 kayaks and also the hot tub daily. The ping pong, pool table and board games kept us busy when we had some rain one day. There is a nice community center with pool, tennis and pickle ball courts as well.

Great view and access to the lake

It started with a super easy check in. The view and access to the lake was amazing. The house was cozy with plenty of seating areas. The only thing that was disappointing was the weather. Linda was very prompt with answering any questions and very friendly when she had to call me about our husbands not obeying the property line on the dam, which clearly says to stay off of. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Our family of 6 which included our 3 young adult daughters and a friend was very enjoyable at the property. The place was pristinely clean and well- maintained. The set up is very nice and we used all of the amenities, rowboat, kayaks, firepit, grill, whirlpool, deck and indoor games. All was in great working order. The kitchen was well stocked. We also purchased fishing poles and license and enjoyed fishing off the dock. With the location being so close to the village of Jim Thorpe it was easy to split up our days to appease all in our group with activity preferences. The only suggestion I could offer would be an updated sofa in the living room and some of the bedroom dressers. We would definitely recommend this place to others. Such a tranquil place to get away!

Lakeside Lounging

A group of 12 of us stayed here to celebrate my 50th birthday. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. We all slept comfortably and had no complaints. Communication with the owner was speedy. I’d love to go back. This weekend was truly perfect.

Exhausted (in a good way)

We had so much fun hiking, boating, kayaking, fishing, and jogging that we need a vacation.First, great communication from coffee makers to church services to gun clubs in the area. The owner ALWAYS responded.Second, the home had everything...kitchen appliances, laundry room, hot tub, dock, fireplace, outdoor seating, huge driveway!Third, CLEAN. CLEAN. CLEAN.We have already started planning to return to Jim Thorpe next year and hoping that the owner allows us to use her home!Thank you.
