“I am seriously disappointed in the home I rented. I stayed one night on a 7 night trip due to the mold and mildew in the home. The only reason I stayed the one night is because I didn't arrive to the home until 9 pm. I am severely allergic to mold and had trouble breathing after being in the house for a few hours. I took some pictures of the black mold that is on the wall to the left of the side door entrance. There was also noticeable mold above the space heater in the bedroom that I tried to...

“Amazing stay. Entire penthouse was clean. Property is beautiful. We will return next year. If any questions or concerns Carolee was always quick to respond by text or call. Youve got all you need at Houser's crossing.”

“The property and Home were as described. We had a very comfortable night. Sleep well rested. The location was convenient for us to get to.”

“Everything we needed for a quick getaway. An historic tiny home with charming decor, gorgeous scenery, a lovely garden courtyard, a lake nearby, and a host who is incredibly warm & welcoming”

“Steps to the Lake, is just that :) A very short walk to the lake and it's amenities. Our family enjoyed our stay, especially the hot tub. The Host, Olga, was very responsive to my questions.”

“We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. The little details did not go unnoticed and made our trip even more enjoyable. Communication with the host was easy and they were very responsive. Would definitely recommend this property and would be happy to stay again! ”

“This house was perfect for our family reunion. Communication was prompt. The place was amazingly well stocked with everything you might need, from a highchair and stroller to umbrellas, beach toys, and all the kitchen items needed to cook dinner each night. Clubhouse passes were hanging by the door when we got there, along with our car pass (and getting extra ones for our car rentals was easy). We loved the many yard games when we had family over for a dinner (croquet, giant connect four, etc.)....

“Pros: Great location on lake with nice fire pit and fishing pier. Allows dogs. Nice hosts. Cons: Old house that needs renovation. Bathrooms very outdated - yellow tub with moldy grout. Broken light switches Didn't know until we got the check in instructions that we had to brings linens and towels. No hair dryer even provided. For the price, we expect more provisions. Wouldn't have rented it if we knew this ahead of time.”

“Beautiful home! Had a wonderful visit for our first time at Lake Harmony. Will definitely be back for another stay at the Love Shack!”

“We chose this location because of its proximity to Pocono Raceway. The communication with the host was excellent and the check in process was flawless. The house was neat and clean with the basic essentials provided. The home does not have central air but does have very capable floor units in both bedrooms. This was my very first stay using the VRBO platform and I hope all of my future experiences will be as good as this one. I would highly recommend this host and property. ”
