“I was in town for a Men’s Ministry retreat, and this was the perfect little refuge. I needed to recharge the battery in between sessions. It was nice to be in a quiet immersed in nature. I was greeted by the property dog and saw a few deer. It was exactly what I needed. I’ve been happy to stay here again. Next time I’m here for another retreat. Highly recommended.”

“Glad to see that this spacious old cottage was more restored than remodeled. All the conveniences of today's living but sunrise view over the little is to die for. The southbound train across the lake tooting his whistle at 6:36am was a classic alarm to get the day in gear. Nice 3 nite stay for us even though our schedule prevented us from enjoying what surely would be a relaxing cup of coffee on the front-porch as the sun rose over the water ”

“We adored our time away at this adorable cabin! All the little details make the cabin cute and cozy. The beds were extremely comfortable, the grounds were beautiful and safe to explore, the owner was extremely kind and responsive. We found a local place that sold duck eggs and another that sold local honey. We enjoyed the firepit outside, stargazing, and sipping coffee on the front porch. We would definitely book again!”

“We enjoyed our stay and had a great time fishing, playing pool, and hanging out in one of the many outdoor spaces. Communication with the host was excellent and friendly. Lake June was very nice. We learned after booking that we could not put our boat in the boat house (I didn’t see this in the listing), so heads up on that if it’s a big deal to you. Also, this is an old house - and the A/C did not cool the upstairs well at all. We kept the place closed up as directed, but even with high temps...

“We loved our stay at Kellie’s farm, the property is big and has a big pond or little lake at the back, the scenery looks like you’re somewhere in the wild side of Montana and feels like a grizzly bear can come out of the trees at any moment! Haha but it’s very safe, nothing to worry about. The farm has chickens, pigs, a calf, dogs, etc. if you love animals you will love this place for sure! We would definitely come back and we 100% recommend this place.”

“Friendly staff, they brought us oranges. The location is in the middle of nowhere along a busy road, but we liked it. A mile from Winn Dixie to get our grocery. Half hour away is Higlands Hammock State Park, Sebring.”

“The home was beautiful and very nicely decorated. It was very clean and had all the amenities you would want. The view from the home was incredible. The lake was right across the street and could be seen from the living room, kitchen and family room. The only problem we had was there was three couples, and the three bedrooms were perfect, but only two of the three baths were accessible from the bedrooms. The third bath was down the hall and through the living room and left a bit to be desired....

What ever you do, STAY AWAY!

"Arrived to a lobby full of odd people haning around. I think the majority of the hotel is rented as section 8? Got to my room, and there was no wifi or tv. They said sorry, no wifi. You can use your computor in the lobby. But there was no wifi there either. As for the TV they just said sorry. I got back to my room, where there was a guy standing outside the door to the room next to me screaming. He eventuelly kicked the door in and there was a fight. Police arrived, and barked at the people. There was a dog barking in the room non-stop. At 8pm I had enough and left. I asked for my money back, but they said no. I asked for partial payment back, but they said no. This was the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had, and what ever you do, stay away!"
