“South Lake Chalet is walking distance from Heavenly Ski Lift (and casinos if that's your thing); also to the beach and to hiking. Both times we've stayed here, the fireplace was lit and the room heated, a welcoming touch on a winter's day and after a long drive, The room is clean, has real dishes, glasses and utensils; microwave and sink. Dog friendly. We'll be back and recommend highly.”

“The room had everything we needed and was recently remodeled. We were able to park right outside the door so unloading the car was very easy. The microwave and fridge came in handy. We parked and then didn't drive until checkout. Perfect location to walk to the beach, the Heavenly gondola and all the restaurants and casinos. Would stay again.”

“Perfect location, the bed was very hard, but they solved it with an extra bedmadrass! water spilled on the floor of the shower, was resolved temporarily with towels. The door hung a bit so it was difficult to lock and unlock!!”

“The room was spotless, it looked newly renovated and very nice looking clean decor. It was nicely heated and lights on to receive guests at night. The access code to the room worked perfect. It was quiet and in a great location to Heavenly. The coffee maker, refridge, microwave and TV were nice to have and easy to use. Parking is included and easy. It was very spacious. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.”
