When we got into the house, there was rotten and expired food in the fridge, stuff all over the counters, dirty dishes in the sink and dishwasher, dirty laundry in the washer and on top, and there was no heat. “This cottage is in the perfect location! The cottage was clean, well stocked and wonderfully old and quirky. It is an easy walk into the historic town of Harper’s Ferry, but a bit steep going back, so manage your expectations and know your limitations. The host was VERY responsive and a pleasure to work with. The parking space is across the street and very tight against the hill (passenger needs to get out before parking).
