“The villas was very clean, spacious and modern. We were there March 12-16 so very early in the season. The pools were closed which I didn’t know until getting there as it was shown when I booked that heated pools were all year round. There was apparently a sandstorm from Africa for a week prior to us coming which then closed the pools. The host offered us an extra night free however we already had our flights back to Athens booked so couldn’t take advantage of that. Michaelis offered a dinner...

“ The host seemed friendly and even offered to escort me to the house, which I initially appreciated. Once we began the drive, I realized why. The property is located on top of a mountain, about 1,600 ft above sea level, something never mentioned in the listing. The road to get there was extremely dangerous—narrow one-lane stretches intended for two cars, very few guardrails, and almost no streetlights as you climbed higher. “Less than a block from the beach. Very quiet neighborhood with good beachfront restaurants. The host is so sweet, inexplicably met us at 6:30am just to see us off when we would have happily left the keys and let the poor man sleep in. They provided some coffee, tea, juice and raki. Really lovely little spot to relax. ”
