“We came to Hermann for my brother in laws birthday and this house was perfect for three adults for a weekend. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room. The place was clean and the back patio was cute and a nice place to hang out. The AC worked excellent, we were comfortable the entire stay. It was walking distance to some shops and a couple bars. The taxi picked us up right at the door. Overall, if you have a smaller group I would recommend this property and would definitely stay...

“The Black Magnolia was the perfect retreat/getaway! The house, impeccably clean, is centrally located and within walking distance to all the town sights and restaurants. Should you choose to take the trolly to the wineries, it picks up at the front door! The home is far enough away from the train tracks, you don’t hear the hustling of the cars or the warning horn. “This property is perfect for a large family gathering! Plenty of bedrooms and extra mattresses for the kids to sleep on, but wonderful spaces indoors and out for everyone to gather. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need to cook a meal for a crowd. The pool is a hit with the grandchildren (and their parents!). Donna is a wonderful host and is very accommodating. We highly recommend this property if you need space for a large group.”

“We had an amazing stay at this property! The house was even better than expected—clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. It had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to plenty of space for everyone to relax. The location was perfect, close to the golf course, but still quiet and peaceful. The host was fantastic to work with, very responsive and thoughtful, which made the whole process easy. We truly felt at home and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!”

“The house was located up a winding drive and a tree had fallen across the road. Called the hosts and they were there within 15 mins with a chainsaw to clear the way!! The house was very clean and they thought about numerous little things one might need... qtips, hair ties, neosporin, coffee, tiny sewing kit etc. Kitchen was stocked with all the basic appliances and dishes you'd need to make any home cooked meal. The home is older and doesn't have central heat or air but lots of window a/C units...

“The house is beautiful! We felt like we were at home. Large bedrooms, plenty of room to stretch out and relax, a quiet calm atmosphere inside and out! We so enjoyed the livestock and talking with the caretaker. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! ”

“This is definitely not your conventional vacation place to stay - a working farm, log cabin portions, modern kitchen appliances hidden in plain sight behind old farmhouse cabinets, eclectic decor that you can spend hours browsing and looking at so many unique items. But it was exactly what I was looking for and everything turned out very well. Thank you!”

“This home was perfect for our annual buddies golf trip. The pool and deck area accommodated our group of 12 with ease and was an excellent place to cool off and unwind after a hot day on the golf course. There was a minor issue with the pool ladder but the property manager was quick to respond when we addressed it. Very close to grocery stores, restaurants, and some bars. Just a couple minutes off of I-70 if you're travelling to the area. The only potential issue I could see would be food...
