It is right across the street from the Railroad Museum which is awesome. Bring everything you think you might need. A few simple things would make this place a five. “We didn’t get enough time to evaluate but from the short visit, we can say that this is the small paradise within the Main area. Best camp ground facilities we have ever seen or experienced. Looking forward to visit with friends and extended families as well. ”

“Super cozy and comfortable cabin! We had a wonderful time using the fire pit and the self-serve camp store was so convenient. It was just big enough for the two of us and the bed was comfortable! Check in super easy, online and contactless. The grounds are clean, beautiful and tucked away from the actual park. We also enjoyed the included after hours access to the sand dunes, it was so nice to explore in the twilight with no other visitors around. ”

“The location was a 10 minute drive from Boothbay and the rooms were newly renovated and very cute. But some of the furniture was coming apart during normal use. Biggest concerns were as follows:1. Very poor communication from host. They didn't provide us with entry information until the morning of, and didn't answer our messages. “Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!!
