“Excellent place to stay to explore the eastern portion of the Shawnee National Forest. We used it as a launching point to see the Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, and Dixon Springs State Park. Wish we had another day to do more exploring. The cabin is secluded, so stock up on groceries and charcoal for the grill before you arrive. Easy set up, full kitchen, clean. The home fragrance is overpowering for my preference, you may love it. Now all my belongings smell like a laundry mat, how fitting.Ideal spot to explore the area and hike.Fish on the river or watch the ships go by.”
