“We wanted a quiet getaway and chose Sunset Lagoon because of the great reviews and the promise of seafood. If you like shellfish, this is the place for you! If you like a serene view and (usually) a great sunset, this place delivers. If you love kayaking or paddle boarding, you have a beautiful place to do it. The owners are kind and helpful. You do need to think through what you need in advance since there’s no store on this island. But that’s just a little planning in advance.”

“We had a wonderful time at this property. Heron Island itself is such a peaceful place and this house allowed us to relax and unplug. The house itself was clean and well equipped. The hot tub was also clean and in working order. The host was very responsive to any questions that we had.
