“Breakfast was excellent all round. Staff were great, more than ample choice of cereal, juices and hot food. Toaster was a bit slow! Only disappointment of whole stay was the evening meal menu - could not buy a steak or a schnitzel! Limited choice - we didn't go back the second night. Up market fine dining not really our cup of tea! Some more basic options would have been better.”

“CABN Hahndorf is a beautiful concept and offers a peaceful escape in the Adelaide Hills. The cabin is thoughtfully designed, private, and perfect for a short digital-detox style getaway. The kitchen was well equipped, the shower was fantastic, and the bed and pillows were comfortable and good quality—although the cabin bed could have been a little warmer, especially on cooler nights. One minor issue was the window fly wire screen kept falling on us so we had to temporarily jam it with paper...

“ A beautiful little bed and breakfast in a Jane Austen like setting. We had the lady Jane room, a large room with plenty of space, private bath and a small pantry. Room has everything you could ask for and then some. Breakfast was prepared and readily available in the fridge and cupboards and we handled everything ourselves. We had breakfast in the extraordinary garden, what a gem of a place that was! Room did not have individual Aircon, but it was cool and nice so apparently they controlled...

“Beuat and comfy room. Very narrow check times. Poor WiFi. Wobbly hot/cold water, probably installed by Mr. Bean himself. Brekkie to be self cooked. 150ml milk with amazing granola, bring more milk with you. Stale bread. Eggs and bacon cook yourself, if you find the power switch to the stovetop, it is well concealed. Lack of power outlets. ”

“The hotel's location is excellent and it is quiet and clean. My arrival and departure were such that I never met any member of the staff, but service was good.”

“ Overall, the property was excellent but was let down by the lack of TV reception. Given that our visit was for the Gather Round Football, our plan was to watch many of the games on TV. However, that was not possible because of there being no satellite connection because of the cloud cover. It was a major disappointment and as a result we had very little leisure time at the property. The property is advertised as family accommodation, so the TV coverage issues need to be rectified.”

“This was a completely random find by us. These villas are part of a cooking school, but we were just there for the room. This was the most beautiful villa we've ever stayed at. It was beautiful, stunning architecture, beautifully furnished, it had an amazing complete designer kitchen which we didn't use, but which would be handy for longer stays, and it was not all that expensive.
