  • Buckberry Lodge-5 BR / 4. 5 bad timmerstuga som ligger i ett frodigt landskap av stauder och infödda rododendroner. Detta hem har tre nivåer och är perfekt för ett par, eller delar med vänner eller utökad familj. Huvudnivån erbjuder: fullt utrustat kök som är öppet för "Old Hickory" matplats. De två våningar vardagsrummet har en vedeldad spis, kabel-TV, VHS / DVD med gott om bekväma samlingsplatser. Skärmad servering veranda och öppet däck med rostfritt gasgrill. Mst. BR (Queen) har en privat veranda och stort badrum med dusch och bubbelbadkar. Det finns ett halvt bad strax utanför entréen. Den övre våningen har ett badrum på loftet mellan gästrummen. (2 tvillingar, drottning) Den lägre nivån har ett familjerum med vedeldad spis, biljardbord och tillbehör, liten TV / VHS. Nedre däck har veranda gungor och andra sittplatser och är tillgänglig från vardagsrummet och båda lägre gästrummen (Queens i varje BR-har ett privat badrum och den andra delar en hall bad). Tvättområdet ligger på lägre nivå. Stort bakgårdsområde med ett litet spår som hamnar på en fin, sval källa. Buckberry Falls är ett litet område undangömt, men ändå bekvämt att shoppa, restauranger, sjukhus, vandring och mycket mer. Main Street Highlands (ca 4 miles) och Cashiers (ca 10 miles). Inga husdjur och INTE Rökning

    En vecka minst juli, augusti och oktober, tacksägelse och jul. INTE mindre än 7 nätter kan hyras för detta hem vid någon tidpunkt, såvida det inte är inom 18 dagar efter önskad hyresperiod.

Great Property close to town

Very neat and clean. Great Property and we enjoyed our stay very much. Only thing that could've made it perfect is a trash service, but everything else was great!

Great home for family gathering in the Highlands

This was a great property to rent for a family gathering near Highlands. The management company was very welcoming and the home was as described online. Would highly recommend to anybody that needs a large home for family or friends.

Beautiful cabin in a fabulous area.

Location is perfect between Highlands and Cashiers. Lots of room for a large group. The pool table was a hit! The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We will definitely visit again. Many thanks to the host!

Relaxing mountain retreat

What a wonderful place

The house was great. We had a great time. Kitchen was wonderful! Family area was exciting al! Nice bathrooms, porches, decks. Loved the area! Just a few little things: We found 2 dead mice upon arrival. Shower curtains liners should be changed....mildew. A couple of lightbulbs need changing. Mattress in master bedroom and upstairs Queen were very uncomfortable.

Good Location, Needs an Exterminator

The house is well-located between Downtown Cashiers and Highlands, but it clearly has not been rented or used recently. The beds were dusty, there were dead bugs in all the window sills, we had to kills spiders and ants every day inside the house, towels and linens were old and low quality. If you have multiple cars, there is no room to turn around in the driveway and getting in and out of it is difficult. Overall very average and probably the dirtiest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in.

Perfect house in a great location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house to attend a family reunion. It was perfect for our group as each family had their own floor for bedrooms and baths. The checkin process was easy. The rental office was not far from the house , which was convenient. The house was clean upon arrival . Communication with the rental office was great - very responsive to questions or concerns. Very quiet location. Check out instructions were minimal with easy key drop off. Only complaint is that there is no trash service at the house. Although the transfer station (convenience center) is close by, we had to make a run every day to get rid of trash and recycle. Otherwise, a great stay and perfect for a large group. Would recommend staying here if you are in the beautiful Highlands area.

Plenty of room as described, location was great as we played golf and took in activities at the beautiful Old Edwards Club and The Saddle at Glen Cove. Great customer service as we did not know how to program the AC (it was a new unit and required Blue Tooth) but Mr. Chambers came over and took care of the only issue that we had. We will be back at Thanksgiving!!!Thank you!

Great House in Highlands, NC

My family had a wonderful time staying at 170 Buckberry Road. The house was clean and plenty big for our group of seven. Further, the location was perfect as it was between Highlands and Cashiers, and near several great hiking trails and waterfalls. We did not encounter any problems during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

Thanksgiving Get-A-Way

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Large house on 3 floors...perfect for a large family. In my case there was my wife and myself, and two daughters and there family...we all had our own floor! The kitchen had everything you need to prepare a large meal. The property was close to town and secluded. Abundant things to do; shopping, zip lining, sight seeing...there are numerous waterfalls nearby and in our case a slope for sledding. On the down side the house is drafty and groceries are expensive. We missed the colors of fall but I would not hesitate to book the property again.

Nice mountain house

Our group of 5 couples had a very enjoyable stay. Convenient to downtown Highlands and numerous hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful cabin in Highlands

The cabin was perfect! The only thing that was not perfect is that the maids put soiled dirty towels back in the closet and up on the rack as if they were clean. That was the colored towels downstairs. Each one smelled like someone’s body odor. They did it clean under the bed my 3 year old found a condom wrapper. Other than that the cabin itself was perfect! Just need a different cleaning team.
