Highlander Mountain House
I enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is challenging and I had to park offsite a couple of times. Food in the restaurant was good, but overpriced with small portions. Seating was uncomfortable. I would consider returning to stay, but dine elsewhere.

The Skyline Lodge
To stay in Highlands for mountain views, this is the place. Its a 9 minute drive to downtown . Ubers are scarce. The Hotel is retro and in great shape, rooms are large and nice. Staff, very nice and helpful. The only downside, the bar is not good with poor service. The restaurant is average and expensive ...

The Millhouse | The historic Mill House on Mirror Lake and Cullasaja River
This is a great house and was perfect for 4 couples. It would also be great for families with kids. The lake and creek, as well as the other outdoor spaces, create a relaxing atmosphere.
