Welcome to Carolina Cozy! The picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains provide the perfect backdrop for this cute cottage. Whether relaxing, pursuing advents in the lush Nantahala Forest, or strolling to downtown Highlands, it’s all waiting for you. With a screened porch, exposed beams, pine ceilings and floors, you’ll feel like you’re outdoors while enjoying the peaceful setting of the cottage. Located in a quiet community on the plateau, the town of Highlands has small-town charm with big personality. Cottage features include: air conditioner / heater, ceiling fans, screened porch, kitchen, laundry (washer and dryer), barbeque for outdoor grilling, and dedicated parking for 1 car. Carolina Cozy is an easy 8-10 minute walk (0.4 miles) to Main Street Highlands. It has one queen-sized bed and one bathroom. Previous guests have given good ratings regarding location, character, quiet setting, cleanliness, and walkability.

[All of the homes managed by Highlands Vacation Rentals have wifi internet access(speeds may vary based on different providers), basic kitchenware & dishes, linens provided, and a starter set of amenities including: 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom + A set of personal shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap (also per bathroom), 2 paper towel rolls, a few kitchen trash bags, a kitchen sponge, some dish soap and a couple of dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. ]

I typically am not a log cabin girl. This little cabin was very, very clean! It also has been recently redone with very light wood and plenty of lighting. The screen porch was adorable and spotless! There were fresh flowers throughout the cabin. Another wonderful quality about this place is that it is walkable to downtown so we really never had to drive!

Charming cabin in the heart of Highlands

We went to Highlands for our anniversary weekend and wanted a place that was in walking distance to downtown. The cabin was perfect for us. It's small but had plenty of room for both of us and a great screened in porch where we could enjoy the cool evenings. It's a short walk to all the downtown restaurants and shops with sidewalks on almost the entirety of the walk. We will definitely be back!

Charming little cottage in a good location

We loved the location! A quick drive into town, or you can walk it if the weather is nice. Perfect for two people. The screen porch is very cozy and we were able to cook breakfast every morning. We appreciated the washer and dryer, and the dishwasher.

Great cabin, not quite in the woods

This is a great cabin for one person or a couple with easy access by car or a ten minute walk to Main Street in Highlands. It is also a convenient base for excursions out to Cashiers, Sapphire, etc. Matthew and Alexandra, the owners, are quick to respond to questions and are great to work with. Excellent ease of access to the property.

Cozy Getaway

This cottage provided the perfect little getaway to the NC mountains for my partner and I. We really, really enjoyed the walkability into downtown Highlands and the cottage itself :) highly recommend the Satulah Mountain trail for a day hike and the Ugly Dog for a bite to eat after.
