“We loved the town of Custer and this charming house was right in the heart of it. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops. The location was also a perfect jumping off point for seeing the sites in the Black Hills. We went far and wide and decided our favorite excursion was a day in Custer State Park, where we saw Bison and Prairie Dogs and a host of other wildlife. It was awesome to come home each day to the peaceful little cottage where we ended the evening with a movie and then to bed....

“We had an amazing stay at this property in Custer. The hosts were exceptionally easy to contact, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The bunk bed bedrooms, while a bit small, were a hit with the kids—they absolutely loved them! The kitchen was very well equipped, and we enjoyed fantastic coffee each morning. One of the highlights was the playground in the public park right outside. It was fantastic to watch the kids play from the deck. The location is perfect—close to anywhere...

“We thoroughly enjoyed the 6 days we stayed in the Old Town Cabin. Marcia, our host, was delightful and very accommodating and helped make our trip fun. She was extremely easy to communicate with and the cabin had all the little instructions we needed already at hand. The beds were comfortable and I loved being able to put my new car in the garage as there were some thunderstorms in the area and I appreciated not having to worry about hail.
