Welcome to Tennismaster Villa 703 in the serene Shipyard Plantation on Hilton Head Island! Our Tennismaster Villa, a newly listed rental property, has undergone recent upgrades to elevate your stay. The villa exudes elegance and sophistication at every corner. This villa offers the ideal vacation home on Hilton Head Island for any type of traveler.

The villa's well-stocked kitchen includes a breakfast table for casual dining, while a large dining table in the dining room comfortably seats six, providing ample space for family meals or entertaining guests. The living room features a new sleeper sofa, accommodating additional guests. Great get away!

This villa is in a quiet area and stocked with anything you could need. The complex pool is practically in the back yard and is large enough to enjoy. The villa has so many nice extra touches. Beach chairs to use, a sand bucket and shovel for the beach, and they even left a bag of treats for our dog! The partnership with Xplorie was also great, with the free rental of bikes and discounts on activities. Overall a nice place to vacation.

Ok, here is the good, the bad and the ugly. This house is as pictured, and the location is nice. Shipyard is beautiful, and the house is fairly close to the beach. Close proximity to the pool. The house was mostly clean and I liked that linens, towels and starter packs were included for the week. The floors could have used a deep clean, you could tell the grout was fairly dirty. We did see a few roaches in the house and one very large palmetto bug on the porch. I know roaches are more common there, and we did also visit during a hurricane, and I know they try to get away from the water. The clincher for me: This rental company was kind of a nightmare to deal with. Expected me to sign the 13 page long contract within 48 hours, then when I did they still sent me repeated reminders. Paid the balance of the amount due, was sent a reminder that I needed to pay. Asked questions, and wasn’t really given pertinent answers. Wasn’t given in depth information about mostly any aspect of the stay…especially that Shipyard is private and I had to have the parking pass to get in. Then, during a hurricane, they sent out an email reminding everyone that there would be no refunds due to said hurricane. That they basically expected everyone to sit inside, and deal with it until the weather was over and that it’s so beautiful after a hurricane. 😭 A hurricane that lasted all week, mind you. I would never rent this house again, solely because it is owned and/or run by this company.

Great location!

Great location, close to the pool and beach. Loved the additional free extras we were able to take advantage of (free bike rentals, round of golf, etc) and the screened in porch. Will definitely be using this company again for our next vacation rental!

Lovely Home!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The home is located in Shipyard Plantation and the community is very beautiful, safe and well maintained. We loved how close we were to the beach as well, a quick 8 minute walk each morning. The home has been well maintained, the screened in porch at the back of the house was where we spent the majority of our time. The house is pet friendly which we really appreciated, but it could use a deep clean. When we checked in there was pet hair all over, I was able to sweep it all up but would have thought the property management company would have done that. A few small things that would have made our stay perfect would have been a full length mirror, a regular sized broom, food storage containers with lids and a “sharing” cupboard, most vacation properties we have stayed at include a small cupboard where guests can share unused items such as coffee filters, sunscreen, spices, cooking spray etc… the windows were also really dirty when we checked in so I picked up some window cleaner and cleaned them all. Despite these minor issues we really enjoyed our stay and just loved the very friendly neighbors next door, they were incredibly charming and welcoming. I would stay again.

Wonderful Unit in Tennismaster

We loved the location and this unit, especially the screened in porch! Also, the free activities, beach chairs and bikes through Xplorie were great! Also, beds were comfortable, showers worked well, and the new chairs at the pool are nice! A couple of minor items: add a full length mirror and increase the storage/cabinets in the upstairs baths. Thanks for a great place!

Great location and amenities on HHI

Check in process is a breeze and the host is super responsive. Appreciated the beach access and the pool is just steps away. Walking/riding trail through Shipyard. Beautiful area and the unit has wonderful neighbors. Oh, and pet friendly too! We would love to visit again!

Relatively as expected. No carpet which us big plus. Also, loved 3 season room. TV was a bit of an issue. We would prefer ability to easilynise our streaming services. Think we just need to travel with Roku stick.

Nice neighborhood

This condo was clean, well stocked, and a close walk to the beach, tennis, and hotel. Good bedroom separation, each with en suite bathroom. Nice screened porch. Close to the pool.

It was pet friendly so that's great. There were carpet stains - no problem. However, I think the carpet and tile need a good cleaning. My feet were black if I went barefoot. Also, the dryer vent - not the lift out one, needs to be cleaned badly. Could be a fire hazard

Beautiful area. Perfect for tennis and beach access- walking distance. The place, however, was not very clean. There was hair all over, including the bed headrest. Finding cockroaches on the floor in the morning also was not pleasant. May need a bit of an upgrade, but you cannot beat shipyard and the location

Perfect Family Getaway

I love this area to stay in Hilton Head. It’s super close to the beach, yet you have the comforts of home in a house that really feels like a home, rather than a hotel or cramped condo. Property Management was awesome and very communicative. Walking or biking to the beach is literally 5 minutes or less along the shaded bike paths. We come back to this area time and time again because it’s perfect for a family. Clean and safe, quiet, and convenient. Love, love, love it!

Great spot for a beach vacation

We really enjoyed our stay in Hilton Head and would return in the future There so many things to do in the area. We took advantage of the free rentals and activities that were included with our booking. This was a great addition. Also a plus, the villa was a close drive or bike ride to the beach. The villa itself was very spacious and had many nice upgrades. A couple of suggestions would be an upgrade to the carpet and sliding doors in the living room. The locking mechanisms on the doors were a bit difficult to operate. Also not sure if the screen on the downstairs porch needs a bit of repair. Unfortunately there were some insects inside the porch at night so it was not utilized as much as we would have liked. But overall thank you for a great stay.
