Let your family experience the timeless pleasures of Hilton Head Island during your stay at this 2 bedroom with a loft, 2-bath, end unit townhouse in the Turnberry Village complex of Palmetto Dunes Resort on Hilton Head Island, SC.

Six steps up from the entry foyer is the main living area, which begins with a dining table and 6 chairs set before a large sunny window. To one side are 2 stools at a breakfast bar that faces into the galley-style kitchen, which is complete with all full-size appliances including an alcove with a washer and dryer. Off of the kitchen leads back to the living room, which features a cathedral ceiling, a comfortable seating group, a TV/VCR, and a wide window overlooking the golf course. A slider door opens to the deck where there is an outside dining table for 6, gas grill and a beautiful golf course view.

This spacious Palmetto Dunes villa sleeps 8 guests in comfort. Off the main living area are a full bath and the master bedroom, which has a king-size bed and a connecting door to the hall bath. A bright open stairwell leads up to a very sunny loft bedroom with a cathedral ceiling and 2 twin beds, and on through to a bedroom with a king-size bed and a TV. These 2 bedrooms share a connecting bath.

The Turnberry Village of Palmetto Dunes Resort boasts views of the George Fazio golf course and only is a short bike ride or walk to the beach. The complex has an on-site saltwater swimming pool open April through October and a community picnic area. All beach distances are measured from the center of the complex.

Not So Relaxing Vacation

We have stayed at Turnberry Village before because we like the area , their pool and the quietness of location. This was our first time at this unit. The unit has a great location, close to the pool and park area and overlooks the beautiful golf course . Check in was very easy and car pass was mailed before arrival. Property is showing some wear and tear and it was not as clean as the other properties we have stayed in at Turnberry. The AC unit broke 2 days into our vacation. We notified the property manager and they addressed quickly but the unit needed to be replaced and it did not get fixed during our stay. Property manager did bring us portable AC units to help cool the unit. Temperature ranged from 79-84 with units. We did ask if we could move to a different property but because we were traveling with our dogs there was only 1 other property that was available. We did not like the property or location so we opted to stay at Turnberry. Property manager did give us a discount for our inconvenience which we appreciated . We felt they were doing the best they could with a bad situation. Some things were out of their control. We did end our vacation early because of this. Things that are showing wear and tear should be addressed and repaired, fixed or replaced prior to renters arriving. Maybe this situation could have been avoided if the older AC unit was replaced sooner.
