We stayed during the week when Tropical Storm Elsa passed through and one of the major positives we had was Karen's attentiveness. She made sure we were okay and kept us posted before and during the storm with updates. Fortunately, there were no major problems or power outages, but it was great to know how much Karen was concerned with our safety.
The unit is in a great location! We enjoy Shipyard because it's easy to get to Pope Avenue (Coligny Plaza, multiple grocery stores, etc.) and 278 without dealing with the major traffic circle on Hilton Head. 210 Evian is a VERY easy walk to the large Evian pool and an easy bike ride to the Shipyard Beach Club. Not needing to get in a hot car and find a parking space at the beach is a big plus!
The unit, itself, was spacious ... the bedrooms are VERY large! That said, the furnishings are a bit sparse. It would be nice to have a larger dresser in the main bedroom and mirrors in both bedrooms. Our group was primarily living out of our suitcases for the week and had to wait turns to get in front of a mirror for combing hair, shaving, etc.
Overall, we had a very nice time and were grateful for Karen's personal correspondence during Elsa.
