“Our trip was such a great experience! Our host was very informative! The place comes with pretty much everything you need! Very clean and nostalgic to “ simpler times”. Very close to the river where we caught some fish. Bedding was clean and so was other furniture. “Lovely house with wrap-around porch facing the river. Close to RR tracks if that bothers some, but had a good time there despite the rain (which made the porch even better).”

“Beautiful property with a homey feeling in a quiet, country-like setting, while having the travelers convenience of a Dollar General store and 2 gas stations less than a mile away. Every room is spacious, including the bathroom. We were especially pleased with the thoughtfulness the owners took into account for younger children, which our granddaughter absolutely loved. “Owner was very communicative. There were a few issues when we arrived because of the former renter. Philip dealt with the issues immediately. The older home is well maintained in an established neighborhood. Extremely clean. Home is well located to explore the northern, central and southern entrances to New River Gorge National Park. “Very nice two bedroom house. Obviously recently remodeled and very clean. Situated in a quiet residential area on a short dead end street with only a few other houses.Within easy driving distance from Beckley Exhibition Mine and other area destinations as well as grocery store and restaurants Definitely will use again when coming to this area.”

“Loved staying here SO much! Everything was extremely well kept. It was so peaceful. Host was accommodating - letting us change our stay to a day later when our travel plans changed. Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back!”
