“If you want a break away from the hustle this is the perfect tonic. Staff could not be more friendly or accommodating. An idyllic setting, walk down to the pebble beach or use this as a base to drive to the nearby places and come back and enjoy the wonderful food/drinks in the spacious gardens. Thank you!”

“Lovely small farm with horses, chickens and geese. Old farmhouse with vintage wooden doors and ceiling beams. Lots of adorable knick-knacks. The room was clean with tea and coffee making facilties. The beds could have been more comfortable. Modernised en-suite with shower. Clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely and the host made us feel comfortable, was attentative without being intrusive. All in all a lovely stay. We recommend it if you like animals.”

“If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it.”

“Wow. Where to begin? We just spent a magical four nights in this amazing place. We felt so welcomed by the wonderful staff and enjoyed the very homey, witchy feel of the place. Didn't want to leave! The breakfast was super delicious and we very much enjoyed the garden. The other guests were fun to talk to, as the people that are drawn to this place are certainly unique. The decor is fascinating and mesmerizing. We could have spent weeks exploring it all. We cannot recommend this place more...

“We hadn't realised we'd booked something in West Bay, we thought we'd booked in Bridport, but the people in West bay were absolutely lovely and so friendly, and we found a great place to eat, so we were absolutely delighted with our little mini break. Thank you to all staff at the George pub, you were all fabulous and smiley and welcoming. We would recommend this place highly. ”

"Rummet var kallt när jag kom (4 grader ute). En morgon när jag skulle ha frukost då hade inte kocken kommit, det blev frukost på McDonalds, som ligger bara 400 meter därifrån. Det låg en pub på hotellet, som serverade typisk pubmat och bra öl."
